Yesterday

The Rainbow Queen was lazy today and started in red instead of black. I was hoping for better than that, since she did a very gradual drop to blue last night, but I guess since it's 150 points lower than yesterday's AMPS I should be quite happy :?

Papaya was very contrary about getting her shot tonight - spun around and hissed. I'm back to shooting scruff because it seems to work better if she doesn't see the needle plus it's easier to control her head (aka, Sharp End) if I am working near her neck. I let her chill for a couple minutes and tried again (happily I hadn't depressed the plunger when she gave me trouble the first time, so all the insulin was still in the syringe) and this time she didn't complain. She had a nice long tongue-bath after her shot and now is trying to make herself into a perfect sphere on the couch.

Have a nice evening, everyone!

Sorry Papaya was giving you trouble with her shot. At least you finally got it all in. I hope you and Papaya have a good evening.

LOL! Those are funny pics. Buster likes to hold his back legs so it looks like he's doing some sort of tuck off a high dive. Miss Papaya - why do you have to be so dramatic? Hold still for your mamabean so she can help you feel better, please.

Oh Papaya, don't you know Mama is trying to make you feel better. I know, sometimes we just don't feel like it
I hope Papaya slides down some for you tonight Amy. Slow and gentle Papaya!
Have a nice night Amy!

Thanks for your visits tonight, Carla, Lara, Tara and Pam!

Lara - that square cat has me trying to figure out which end is which, and where . . . all of him is in there! Wild!

Tara - Papaya does something like that when she is licking her back toes. It looks somewhere between graceful and completely ridiculous

Lara is right, Lucy's been complaining about shots since yesterday.

I was wondering if something is making her sensitive and lantus may be stinging.
Colder weather?? But then it's pretty warm in the apartment...

I hope Papaya is feeling well, Amy.
I've been working late these days, so I couldn't comment, but I saw your condo about MOMD. ;-)
Exciting!!!
