10/23 Neko PMPS 345 +4 216

Yesterday Neko had a day cycle that almost matched the one the day before, including a nice little green surf, followed by a pinky/yellow bounce recovery night. The night cycle started looking like the day cycle before her liver slammed on the brakes.

The weather is showers today, but Neko has managed two quick yard patrols and a deck patrol in spite of it. She does dash around because she comes in not very wet, but still dropping fir needles on the kitchen floor. :YMSIGH: Neko has recently changed where she waits for her autofeeder to go off, tucking herself around a corner, although still just two feet away from it. I finally figured out why the move - there is a hot air vent that she is leaning against and now that the furnace it's on she is taking in the heat while waiting for her BFF to deliver the fuds. :lol: ah, she's a smart one! when i was little i had a corner spot between the sofa and the wall that i used to curl up with my blankie in the sunshine. life in the warm spot is awesome! especially when the vending machine is right next to you - it's ALMOST like breakfast in bed! hahahahaha.

so glad to see how well she's doing. her ss looks great, wendy!

Its been so cold here i should find a heating vent to curl up by too! Good idea Neko :lol: We are under a snowfall warning here, we are supposed to get 10-20 cms.......yikes :roll:

That's a nice +6.5, i hope she decides to come to the green lagoon tonight.

There's been an awful lot of pink on Neko's PS lately. At least she is getting down to some nicer numbers in the middle. But there was an almost 200 point drop from +3 to +6.5, which in itself probably is causing a bit of a bounce.

The kitties got their +9.5 snack over an hour early today. My friend with the lymphoma dog thought that he was slipping away today, and she'd called the traveling vet in for today instead of tomorrow. The dog had been just lying around with very little energy, was shaking, and not eating. But when I showed up, he got up, got energetic, ran downstairs to greet me and later ate some chicken breast from the fridge. The vet showed up after a while, and the dog has a high temperature so probably has an infection. I've learned a lot from reading FDMB and a good part of it is relevant for dogs too. Before the vet showed up I had asked my friend if she had taken his temperature (she hadn't). The dog is now on the same types of drugs many of the kitties here take, just way larger doses. He's a 90 lb dog. I couldn't believe the size of the syringe for the antibiotics he got! :shock:

I do like the vet. She is all about low/no carb food and healthy food. I mentioned that I have an acro cat and she asked the dose and was surprised when I told her Neko is on 2.75U, but then I explained about the SRT. Her prices seemed pretty reasonable as well. Neko and I haven't been back to our regular vet since SRT, but will have to go back in a couple of weeks for a blood draw for T4 test. Depending on how that goes, I may be switching vets.

@Julie - When I was little I used to park over a heater with my nightie on over it and get all warm inside. It was definitely awesome. Neko seems to like heat a lot more than she did before SRT, but it is colder here now. I'm glad you like Neko's multi colour SS. Just wish we could ditch a couple of the colours.

@Tracy - Yikes on the snow! I guess Leo will be all curled up with you. I can't imagine he'll want to be out in that for long.

@Carla - The blue was a surprise given the +3 was a rising pink. And I was even happier to see it was there a couple hours later.

@Rhiannon - Neko is pretty good at moving the autofeeder around if she wants to. But I'm sure she'd love more personal service. :lol: Agreed on the blues, bring them on!
