Keep in mind that there is often a drop or two of insulin on the needle, and this can get on the fur and lead you to believe it didn't all go in. The numbers will tell you the truth. Never assume that none went in and shoot again - you just can't know for sure.

Oh, absolutely not! I do know that..but to be perfectly honest, I am seriously getting frustrated in a mentally exhausting kinda way since stopping the dry food. I would like to say that there's been improvement, but truth is I am not seeing it. And seriously, I get the carb thing and moisture deal, but I need to look at the other side of the proverbial coin..which is, not every cat will become diabetic or obstructed from dry food. Please understand I am not advocating either or but in my own mind of minds, and especially with the fact that there is a zero carb dry food available, that you can feed wet and dry. I'm not big on a totally dry diet but my one should be just had a $170 vet bill because he lost 3 pounds in 1 month and my diabetic cat I'm sorry but I'm not seeing any kind of beneficial number differences since stopping the dry so I'm still going over this
