Yesterday's Condo

Nothing much to report here (which isn't necessarily a bad thing!). After yesterday's brief cameo by Mr. Greenie, I thought we would have a moonlight dip last night, but alas, Cinco has decided yellow is the best color for these cooler evenings! :roll: He got my hopes up this morning, but seems to be perfectly comfortable in a lounge chair on the shore listening to the sounds of Trixie, Charlie, Blackie and other kitties frolicking in the lagoon. :YMSIGH:
His appy remains epic - I swear he's been eating like a cliff diver lately, without the BGs to show for it!

Sasha ate the first half of her breakfast with enthusiasm, then gave me the "I'm done" signal (turning her back to me and the plate). I set it down near her and added some more kitty crack and walked away. We'll see in a little while if that worked. I'm going to give her some more SEB in baby food a little later. Harvey, too - he's having a good tummy day, eating like a champ, so maybe it helped him! Paws crossed!

We have high, thin clouds and a slight breeze - nice and cool here today. :-D I really need to get out and do some yard work. Can't use the weather as an excuse not to, soooooo...

So close Cinco - how about showing mommabean some late cycle green again? Sorry about the yellow last night, but it was a great excuse to get to sleep early.

I love hearing about epic appy and pretty good appy in the civies too.

Enjoy the gardening - I'm using the weather here as an excuse to stay inside.

Cinco, you'll be whooping it up in the lagoon in no time.

Tricia, get out there and garden while the gardening's good! Edward has been waiting all week to plant his garlic, but it is just too wet.

What a nice report for all your kitties today. I hope Cinco heads back to the lagoon soon and Sasha ate more for you.

Despite the good wishes of his LL aunties, Cinco took a wrong turn. Guess I need to get his GPS fixed. :roll:

Sasha is currently working on her baby food/SEB treat. Harvey ate about half of his. I don't think he dislikes the SEB, but he LOVES the baby food, so he's really torn. He keeps walking away and then going back for another bite. :lol:

I just put the SEB in a feeding syringe and squirt a little in. Neither Tess nor Emma mind it too much.

Blue really seems to be the color of the day around here today! Lots and lots of blue kitties in LL!

Hopefully China will decide to head to the lagoon tonight...and of course you know if she goes, Cinco is bound to follow her! Maybe we can get her to drag Max along too!

I agree on the gardening...get out there and garden while the gardening's good!

Soon enough, there won't be any reason to and we'll all be eating tomatoes that taste like cardboard again :sad:

Not a bad day for Cinco at all! Hopefully he'll surf nicely without any dives or bounces tonight. I'm glad Sasha is doing some eating. :lol: :lol: :lol: about Harvey being torn with the SEB laced baby food!

Nice to see you, Ann, Chris and Amy.

Amy, Harvey did eventually finish his baby food/SEB "treat" - his fondness for the baby food won out! Sasha only ate about half of hers - that seems to be her new thing. She ate about half her dinner, too. I'll be going back up a few times this evening to get her to eat more. I may also offer undoctored baby food and see if she eats more of that. I did try a second Ondansetron last night, and it didn't make a difference. I'll do it tonight again, anyway, but I really think she either just isn't hungry or the food doesn't taste good to her.

Ann, I'm actually giving them powdered SEB from a capsule right now. I couldn't find the bulk until yesterday, and I haven't had a chance to make the syrup. Neither Harvey nor Sasha do well with things squirted into their mouths. Just holding them still long enough to do it is a two person job. I guess it's an Aby thing. :roll: We'll give it a try, though.

Chris, I hope China lures Cinco to the lagoon tonight. I'm sure it would be just fine if Max and Skooter and anyone else came along, too. The more the merrier, I say! :-D

I didn't get much done in the yard after all - just some watering and picked some tomatoes and peppers. I got a call that my new glasses were ready, so I got cleaned up and went to get them after my workout (yes, I'm back to that after a couple of months off - ouch!). I stopped at a couple of stores looking for something for Sasha and found two infant turtlenecked onsies at Babies R Us. I'll have to cut off the sleeves and the bottom, but they might just work. I'm going to throw them in the wash tonight and alter them tomorrow. It won't be fancy, as I don't sew, but if it does what we need, who cares how it looks?

Yay for happy appy. :-D Hope a little will rub off on Sasha. I think she's going to be very fashionable with her new onsies. :lol:
