10/22 Simon PMPS 125 +4 78

Simon is feeling all happy and purry this morning. Must be the nice green AMPS :mrgreen: ! Food situation is still an issue. I went back to giving him the Wellness which he turned his nose up at a few days ago. Today he likes it so I'll try to give him this until he decides he wants another variety.

I have to tell you a story that has made me feel really happy. Before his FD diagnosis and before his arthritic legs, whenever I used to play the piano, Simon would jump up on the piano bench with me and sit there and stare at my piano music like he was reading it and then would occasionally step on the keys like he was playing a song. It has been a long time since he has done that. Well yesterday, while I was playing, Simon ran into the room and jumped up on the bench like his old self. Yay!! I don't know if it is the insulin or the dasuquin, but regardless, this is exciting! Remember, this is the same cat that when he was a kitten, crawled into my piano and we had to saw off the piano keys cover to get him out. I should have called him Elton after Elton John!

Hi Georgia, a very nice AMPS for the gorgeous Simon, aka Elton John. That is so great to hear that Simon jumped ip onto the piano bench just like ole times. He must be feeling so good and the meds are helping him. Have a wonderful day.

NICE cycle for Simon....and great story about him jumping to the piano bench. I love hearing stuff like that....means he must be feeling pretty good. :mrgreen:

Enjoy the cooler weather....we will be back in the upper 80's by the end of the week.....I love the first taste of cool weather.

Hi Georgia...so glad to see Simon cruising those lovely greens. What a wonderful, heartwarming story about him jumping on the piano like he used to!!!! Whatever it is that's working, paws crossed it keeps doing so!!!

I love the piano story! I almost cried for joy the other day when Weezer showed some of her preFD behaviors. It really warms my heart to hear others tell their stories.

I too love the piano story! it simply is the best thing when they return to old behaviors - so very very nice.

And the numbers are nice too.
