10/22 Rocket- update

[Rocket & his Mom]

keeping Linda and all in my thoughts and prayers....

Rocket goes to the vet on monday...i'm nervous so please keep us in your prayers....we need them

he woke me up at 4 am today...so i gave in and got up to give him his fluids....then i tried to go back to bed but by 5 am it was shot time

AMPS 198.....we are at 2.75u

will update SS sometime today

overall he is doing ok....though i see some days better than others...but he is still sociable and likes to be around which is always a good sign...he has asked to go out of our unit a few times(which he hadn't done in a long time) and the balcony a couple of times though it is getting cooler outside so the outtings have become very short lived...

i will try to take a nap shortly....i feel somewhat rested...i managed to sleep about 6 hrs (even if not straight thru)....that is a lot in my world....so will try to get caught up somewhat....

better get off the pc....Rocket is giving me that stare that he wants the UNDIVIDED attention!

I love hearing that Rocket is wanting to go out a little more. He is definitely a fighter and wants to make sure you are aware of how much he loves you by waking you up at all hours. Glad you got 6 hours of sleep. That is alot for you!

Very fine news that Rocket is wanting to move further afield, and to spend time on his favorite balcony, too, even though it is getting colder. We will be keeping you and Rocket in our thoughts on Monday and hoping for a good vet report.

Hi Claudia, nice to see a Rocket report. That's great he wants to go out on the balcony and a good sign, too, he wakes you up when he needs something. That's fantastic for dear Rocket in my books! We ALL fear the vet--I think it's worse for me than it is for Moonie..Just see how well he IS doing..Having a good quality of life & still craves your attention.
