10/22 Max AMPS 94 PMPS 250

You and Max have had some ups and downs, you are a champion Lori, Max is very blessed you are his caregiver! :bighug::bighug::bighug: And here he is starting out green and surfing blues - you have to love it! :D:D:D

Is there any chance the BP meds can cause constipation? I found Lactulose to be way more aggressive than Miralax, however, it appears the Miralax is working so that is good!

Hi Ruth. Thanks for your sweet comments. I don’t know about being a champion lol. Some days really get to me. Interesting that you mentioned that about the BP meds. I strongly suspect that they do cause constipation in cats. They, like a lot of other meds always have GI listed as a possible side effect. Max has a tendency towards constipation because of diabetes anyway. He takes lactulose sometimes twice per day. We usually don’t have an issue until his sugars get sky high and he pees so much more. Then that makes his sugar even higher being constipated.
