Morning ~O) ~O) looking forward to Mannie's Barista Venti coffee on this sleepy Monday.
I can't believe Maggie is in the pink today. She may even go higher, as today is Vetty checkup and b/w, also urinalysis. Even though she's calm on the outside, she's stressed anytime she has to get in the carrier. Well, after yesterday's prezzie, I'm not expecting anything today for Inspector Poo's report, but one never knows. Mags left some huge size pee clumps, so good she's drinking water, also getting fluids.
Maggie has good appy, and we both were looking for any critters passing thru our yard, but no sightings. I think they're stable in Zener's yard. Our appt. is at 8 am, and I'm getting notes ready for the Vet and will catch up on condos when returning.

ETA: 1:30 pm -- Great news for Inspector Poo's report. Maggie had a poo for the 2nd day in a row. She must have gone to the LB after I brought her home and ran a quick errand. Maybe the Vetty stress helped push it along! :-D

Dale, thanks for visiting us last evening and sorry I was ni ni when you posted.

Serryn, yes, very strange cycles lately with Maggie.
Vyktor, can't wait to see you and what you said, Mags

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331

That was some nice green yesterday. What is up with the pink? Good vetty vines coming your way. I hope it all goes well. Have a great day Ann!

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331

Aw Mags, no need to be bouncy! I'm sure these odd cycles must be connected to her new meds, etc...it's a lot for both of you to adjust to!

Sending many good vetty vines this morning!!!

+3 192

Down to blue and hope she stays there for Vet appt.

Thanks Melissa for the vines. confused_cat on the pinks!

Thanks Amy, I think so, too, the numbers and bm issues cause the ups and downs.

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331; +3 192

Good luck with that vetty appt. I hope Maggie sails through with ... no.. not flying colors... with beautiful low numbers.

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331; +3 192

We are sending some nice vetty vines for Maggie today.

Wow on the greens yesterday, its great to see after she's been so high for so long, but what is up with the bouncing Mags?

We'll check back in later and see how the vetty went. Have a great day ladies.

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331; +3 192

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) and from Mannie, kitteh barista, an additional double shot espresso ---> ~O)

Good vetty vines for Maggie. I know what you mean on the calm exterior, and the stressed out insides. I hope the vet trip doesn't cause too much of a rise in her BG. Last couple of times I have taken Mannie, the trips have caused his to drop. sheshhhh! I hope all goes well for Maggie today. Good luck!

Bummer on that pink amps. nice recovery for her +3 though. Surf well Mags.

  Vyktor and Mags are at it again. :-D

Enjoy your morning Ann.

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331; +3 192

I hope everything goes well at the vet for Maggie today. Hopefully she'll keep surfing blue for you.

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331; +3 192; +4 174; +6 123; +10 228

Hi and we're back from Vetty. I brought Maggie home and gave a light snack and did a quick errand, as the parking fills up later. The Vet visit went well. Maggie's teeth and gums look good, and the overall exam went well. They did a Senior Blood Panel and Urinalysis, and the Vet will call me tomorrow on the results. This was a quarterly exam as she goes in several times a year with the chronic renal disease and monitoring. I showed the Vet Dr. Lisa's list, part of it just to give him a general idea of the list, and he was very interested, especially carbs and phosphorus levels. He has the website and will check it out. I'll keep you posted on her b/w results. Thanks for the visits while we were gone.

Hi Oliver's Mom, thank you for visiting Maggie and many thanks for the Vetty vines. I think the +10 @ 228 is Vetty stress.

Tracy & Leo, thanks on her nice greens yesterday. The bouncy sure is not Maggie's usual pattern. I guess the Megacolon and CRD together threw her off, and then adding two new meds for the Megacolon.

Michelle and Mannie, thank you so much for the Venti coffee, so good and got me thru the morning. Maggie seemed calm, but as soon as I took her out of the carrier at the Vet
and on the table, she bent over the table looking for her carrier. She wanted back in the carrier. I know with Vyktor and Maggie; they better be careful, as they are both getting very risque!

Thanks Rhiannon, Vetty exam went well, now to wait for the b/w and renal values. She's gone up to yellow, but a lot of it is Vet stress. I'm hoping for more blues.

Hi Carla, she is all purry and happy now that she is in her red fleece bed on the sofa and near the patio.

Hi Ann..
.Those are very nice blues, for a girl who had to travel in a carrier, and see all those strangers at the vet clinic.

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331; +3 192; +4 174; +6 123; +10 228

Poo patrol is proud! Maybe vetty stress is good for something - GI motility! Paws crossed for good BW results.

PMPS 399

I took it three times as I could not believe it!

Barb & Checkers, I guess Vetty stress caught up with Mags and a snack.

Roni, thanks for the cheers for two poos in two days. :-D

Anne/Poo Patrol, the Vetty stress helped, and hopefully now numbers will go down/

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331 +3 192;+4 174 +6 123 +10 228 PMPS

Maggie what you doing up there  the vet visit is all done you should be relaxing now, has Vyktor been stressing you?!?!?!?!?

Sorry Mags that was a very improper suggestion that I made and I'm sorry you got stressed about it. I saw it in a movie and thought that's what I'm supposed to do... - love Vyktor xxx

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331 +3 192;+4 174 +6 123 +10 228 PMPS

Yuck on the pm number, but look at the bright side, it coulda been one number higher.

Sorry Ann. It'll be down to nicer numbers tomorrow.....or later tonight. It was a stressful day for our Maggie. :-D

I put a pic of Checkers in his harness, in his condo, just in case you are interested in walking Mags. It's really secure.

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331 +3 192;+4 174 +6 123 +10 228 PMPS

Oh, it's so good to hear the vetty appointment went well - always stressful. Especially the Box of Doom. Molly can't wait to get out of it and then can't wait to get back in again too! Poor tortured kittehs. Very nice news on the dental. But not so nice on the PMPS, what's going on with kitties tonight?

Hey Mags, you want I should have a talking-to with Viktor??? ~Yur bro, Leo

Re: 10/22 Maggie AMPS 331 +3 192;+4 174 +6 123 +10 228 PMPS

Hi Serryn, I think it's a combo of Vetty stress and a snack too close to the +10. She was so hungry and had been such a good girl, I'm afraid it added to it.
Vyktor, no U did not add to my stress, we are ok and I will see ya tonite. It was Sam, my Vet Tech who stuck me in the belly to get a pee sample that stressed me, and I have a bare belly, too. See ya on our dat. Mags xo xo

Barb, thanks, I'll be over to see Checkers in his harness.ox

Hi Lisa, I think it was the torture box and the whole drama of the Vet visit, although she acted calm. She was so happy to be home.
Hey Leo, my bro, awww, you are so sweet. Vyktor is all talk and no action, Mags

Re: 10/22 Maggie PMPS 399

Hi Ann & Maggie,

It was just delayed vetty stress. Not to worry! Rusty often has his numbers rise a day or two later than whatever caused them to rise (trips in the car, mostly). So glad to hear that Maggie's examination went well. Enjoy your coffee parfait and have a good, restful evening,

Hugs from us,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 10/22 Maggie PMPS 399

 oh wow.... vetty stress for sure! I don't think I have ever seem Maggie so high. I had to look three times! Well - don't worry, you know she will come down. I hope all went well at the vet.

+3 308

Coming down and almost on the yellow floor!

Thanks Ella, yes I think so, too, on the delayed stress. Mags seems all calm now and is on her patio chair by the patio window looking for her possum friend or Zener's skunk friend.

Michelle, I know, her and Mannie are in the pink together. What are they eating at the get togethers? The exam went well, and her teeth and gums look good. I'll get the b/w results tomorrow.

WOO HOO! Almost yellow - GO MAGS! Good to hear Ann that all is well. YAY! NO DENTAL! What a relief, huh. hmmmmm..... will have to drill Mannie on what are you serving your kitty friends on all these outings!

Aw, Mags...you've had a long, tough day but were such a brave little girl! No surprise on that PMPS, but you're working on clearing it...good girl!!! No vetty tomorrow - yay!!!

You know what...if I had 15+ people talking about my poo schedule/process & medical issues, I'd hide out in some high numbers, too, until people stopped talking about me! Come on down, Maggie! We're sorry for always talking about your poo! We just get so excited when you leave prezzies...especially 2 days in a row!!!!!!! Sweet dreams!

  That's right, and then at the Vetty there's more talk on her poo and a poke in the belly, too!
Hi Deborah, hope you and Shasta are doing well. Give Shasta some scritches from us.

Hi Amy, no Vetty tomorrow. Mags can sit on her patio chair to her delight. I bet Mags thought she was going in for enemas

Hi Michelle, yes, the good report card on no dental needed was a relief. She's coming down slowly. I wonder, too, about those cheesecakes, Mannie had a whole one to himself.

Hi Ann,

It sounds like a good report so far. You just have to wait for the rest of the report now with the tests. Poor Maggie is just upset over her stressed out day. Who wouldn't be? She just needs a relaxing night with momma. Great on the extra poo!!

Have a good night!

Hugs,
Melanie & Racci

Looks like Post traumatic stress vetty syndrome to me!!
Come on down Mags--Ann-Just one number one day, not to worry--Hugs from us!

They really hate any change in their daily routine, esp vetty visits!
All back to normal Maggie, relax & surf into the blue, sweetie!
