Thanks for the visits everyone!! Well she's headed in the right direction, but darned if I know where those pinks came from in the first place. She's dropped a lot lower than 45 and didn't bounce into the 300's...and just a couple of baby teaspoons of gravy isn't enough to cause it either
There's absolutely nothing in the way of contraband for her to get into, so I guess it'll remain a mystery...China's not telling her secrets!
Doreen...yeah, I've had 14 low back surgeries, and about all I can say about getting around is that some days are better than others...but I think that pretty much applies to everyone. I have permanent nerve damage in my left leg, but in the last year that's been changing and my foot is almost entirely numb now...but even when it feels like a hunk of wood, it can still hurt (which is really hard to explain to someone who's never felt it before). The bad part about it is it's making it's way up my leg now, and I don't always feel or know where my foot is, and losing more feeling up that leg isn't going to make my life any easier.
Had to take Mom to an appointment at 3, and they didn't get her IN until 4:15, and didn't get her out until 5:10 (and they serve dinner at the Assisted Living center at 5) so although she'll get to eat, it'll probably be cold :sad: Then noticed she had an appointment with her cardiologist on Thursday morning at 10, and the doc today wants fasting bloodwork, so we're going back at 8am on Thursday for fasting bloodwork, then if we can squeeze in a quick breakfast somewhere will do that and then to the cardio by 10...and I was supposed to have gone to the dentist at 10am on Thursday so that's going to have to be moved. The saga continues......
I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found this message board...I don't know how I would have coped with China's diabetes, plus all the craziness with my mom in these last 5 months without you. You are all truly a Godsend
