Another lower night for Simon last night, surfing in the 60's and 70's. Nice beginning to today, too...bluish green! There was a fight for the position next to me in bed last night between Simon and Cleo. Cleo won out in the end and Simon had to make do with lying next to my legs. Cleo says "girls rule"!

I am having such a hard time finding food that Simon will eat. I thought he was loving the Merrick's BG, but now he doesn't want it. Same with EVO and Blue Wilderness and primal raw. It seems he is not part of the aristocracy, just a common kitty, preferring FF and Friskies to the more expensive food. The only problem with that is he scratches his ears more when he eats FF and Friskies, even with an anti-histimine. Any thoughts on what to do?

Cleo's tummy was upset early this morning from the baytril. I hope she doesn't stop eating because she is on this AB for 30 days for her UTI. She ate well this morning and is feeling frisky and talking alot.

Happy Friday! I am off again today and am organizing my closet for my fall clothes...so exciting! It was in the 40's here in the deep South this morning!

Good morning Georgia!! Great start for Simon today!

Wish I had some advice on the food. However, Tarragon is a FF and FF only eater. He is not refined and only turns his nose up at the more expensive ones.

Have fun organizing your closet. I did that a couple of weeks ago and it was very fulfilling once it was done. The cold has come in in Tulsa as well. Not near like the north, but brrrrr. I was born and raised in Iowa and we lived in South Dakota for four years before we moved here 14 years ago. I guess I have gotten soft, because 30 degrees feels freezing to me now. :lol:

Hi Georgia, sending some vines for Cleo's tummy and being on the antibiotics. Glad she is feeling well and nice she won last night with the lying next to you. :lol: Maggie is also picky, so I probably have every brand there is, except raw, in her kitchen. I saw one named "Soulistic" in Petco the other day, but I'm not sure of the carbs. Nice AMPS for Simon. He and Maggie are almost alike this morning! Have a nice day.

Hi Georgia, I just read your post on my condo. Thanks and I'd love to know how Simon likes the "Soulistic" and how it affects his bg's! Have fun at the Petsmart. I love shopping there and visiting the Adoption Center.

Hi guys .. beautiful surf last night simon! And I agree, a nice start to today as well .. I wish I had advice for you as far as the fuds go .. mocha just loves her special kitty from wal mart and I do feel for those of you who struggle with food success .. Have fun organizing your closet! Cats like people need to have food in their tummies before we give them AB;'s or they get an upset stomach..Know you are a great bean & Your babies are in great hands!--What a nice amps, hope Simon surfs away the day--Hugs & Lub from us!

I like this green surfing! :mrgreen: Linda, unfortunately, the closet organizing didn't lead to shopping for me, only shopping for more cat food! Ann, I forgot I was going to Petsmart and not Petco and they don't sell Soulistic at petsmart. I did buy a variety of food called Holistic at the small pet store. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll give it a try over the weekend. Roni, I fed Cleo food before her AB's but I guess the span of time between when I go to bed and feed again in the AM is a long time without food. Unfortunately, Simon always gets the food in the automatic feeder...Cleo never even tries to make a run for it when it pops open.

How wonderful that Simon has been having green cycles. YAY!!! But major bummer on the food. Sounds like you have gone through quite a few kinds. I hope you find something that he is not allergic to that is also low carb.

So sorry to hear about Cleo's UTI and that the baytrl makes her tummy upset. Are you giving her some acidophilus or fortiflora to help keep her good bacteria in balance? Sending your sweet girl healing vines.

I hope you enjoy your day off!!! I know I spend too many of mine running cat-related errands

Not bad for the PMPS.

Marje, no I am not giving Cleo anything right now for the good bacteria. Is there something else to give her instead of the flortiflora? I'm not sure where to get that. Is it at pet stores or do I have to get it on line?

I'm off to a handbell concert. I play handbells at church and we're going to a Halloween spooky music handbell concert. Not sure how spooky handbells can be except for maybe the Exorcist theme (tubular bells).
