Yesterday was a blue with a bit of yellow day, much like today seems to be shaping up.

10/20 Recap:

I'm surprised how close today's numbers are so far to yesterday. However, I have to put it out there, the syringe trigger finger is feeling a bit itchy. :lol: I'll give her a couple of cycles yet, but I am looking to see more green in the SS. Another drop might be needed. Ok Neko, what is your response to that!

Fog seems to be quite settled in here. Neko is out in the solarium in spite of it. Her basket fleece got a very good kneading before she settled in. She's 5P and CPC complete, although play = civie whacking so far.

The fog does make things feel damper and colder. Here's a webcam of where we launch our rowing shells. Fog is 100-200 feet up so we did get out today. Clear enough to row, but creepy enough that I think Halloween can't be far around the corner. In fact, Neko has started making suggestions about this year's outfit. I might have to get out the sewing machine.

Thanks for the webcam link--how serene it is there, Wendy :-D I can't wait to see her halloween outfit...I can't sew, short of sewing a button, but have been browsing the dog costumes for Gobbles. Watch out for those "swamp things" that come out from the fog Wendy!!

Neko...You listening....mamabean's trigger finger is getting itchy...You'd better show her some more pretty green numbers! (and NO...205 at +6 is the WRONG way!)

The webcam link is great Wendy...looks very quiet and peaceful...right up to the point where the Swamp Thing gets you.....LOL

Neko, Mama wants to see some green or you know what...

The cove looks eerie... it may be the wrong side of the continent, but I could see it as the setting for a Stephen King novel.

I hope Neko slid down today.

Fog can be beautiful and eerie. One day last week it was dark and foggy as I was leaving for work.
I was standing by my car and heard noises in the street.
I looked expecting someone to be there and no one was there. It was quite creepy.
I heard it again and looked and nothing.
Then the dog barked at me. :lol: I was very happy there was a dog there.
I still couldn't see her, but I recognized the dog from up the street.

Ugh - dunno what's up other than Neko. Don't think today was a fur shot. Last night wasn't particularly bounce-worthy.

@Kat - Now I've got to wait a cycle or two to see if today was a fur shot. No wetness, no smell. Sometimes Neko goes up before going down. Finger is still itchy. Lots of kitties here had Halloween costumes last year, even if you can't make it you can find a pic to post.

@Chris - STILL the wrong way. On Lev, Neko has a late onset, so the +6 didn't phase me. That +9 however...... Sun came out on our cove, swamp things went back in their caves. :lol:

@Nancy - She's making fun of my green request. The cove is the setting for the TV series Cedar Cove with Andie MacDowell - but it's not a horror show! Of course, they film in the summer when it looks prettier.

@Carla - For once she didn't listen to you. Fog does play great tricks on our minds, especially in the dark. Today we were alone on the water when a huge tug boat showed up. :o We all raced to the other side of the inlet. :lol:

Took a peak at the cove, beautiful!!! Although fog is scary enough on land, I can't imagine how eerie it must be on the water. You are a brave soul!

Your cove is beautiful. It didn't look too foggy to me, but I think I may have hit it at a relatively clear time. Anyway, I'd love to paddle there.

Neko, you're headed in the wrong direction. Stop messing with your cycles!!

PMPS 193 or rather PMBG 193 - darned fur shot! I felt liquid, smelled it on my fingers. I did put the syringe back in and she might have got a drop or two. On the positive side, I think I can sleep through without a nadir check tonight.

@Sam - She came down for PS, but then I ruined it. Now I get to see how she does without insulin tonight. :roll: Fog is kind of cool on the water. It's very quiet - the tugboat was very easy to hear and we could see it because the fog was above us.

@Ella - It did clear up to be a sunny afternoon, but fog is predicted again tomorrow. Neko's not really clear on the concept of a "normal" cycle. :lol:

@Josie - Fur shot messes up my plans. :evil: Gotta wait 6 cycles again. Time for those space cat patience pants.

Nice pmps!, bummer on the fur shot. I will hope that the shed carried her over. The numbers of late are nice -it is great to see a less bouncy kitty, not many pinks. Go Neko!

The fog has settled in here too - we haven't had it lift since Saturday morning. We are at 500 feet. sea level has it hovering, some spotty areas. I'm glad that yours has allowed for your rows. THX too for the webcam. I have opened it, and will check back later when it is light out. I'd love to see the area.

Hi Wendy,

Yuck on the fur shot, but it happens. Neko looks like she has a luxurious coat, so it must be harder to get to the "right" spot. Hope she read her condo, and comes down some for you!

Thanks for the link - still too dark there for me to see anything, but I bookmarked it. Large tug boats in the fog = scary!!
