Hi Carla! Every time I read that Furball is happy and purry, I want to cuddle a kitty  . Too bad mine aren't cuddlers...but they will tolerate it for as long as I can catch them...if they are sleepy ;-) . I hope you come home to some nice blue tonight. Have a great day :-D

Hey Carla and Furball,

It sounds like a comfy day at home, so Furball, be good to your MamaBean and show her some blues today. Carla, here's to a good day at work and a warm, purry kitty to greet you when you come home!

Have a great day,

Georgette and Clare

Nice sunny start for Furball. Great to hear she is feeling better. I hope you see some blue when you get home. Have a great day Carla!

Furball's ear is doing much better. It doesn't seem to be bothering her now. I'm still going to give her the medicine for a week. I don't want to cause a setback if I stop.

I called off sick from work today. Since her AMPS was so high, I didn't get a test until +4.75. She was 253 so I thought she was going to have a yellow surf day. I didn't test again until +9.75 and she was 96. That really surprised me. I hope she'll surf blues and greens tonight and not bounce.

I had to run to the pharmacy to get more syringes and I didn't think they were going to let me have them. In WV you have to show proof of why you need syringes. I always take the packaging Furball's insulin came in. The pharmacy tech saw it was for a Solostar pen and said I didn't need syringes. I said it was for a cat, so I did need syringes. She asked the pharmacist and he said I didn't, that I needed needles, or something like that. I guess that is the way people use a pen. I had to explain how I used the syringe with the pen and he still didn't seem to want to give them to me. I told them they could call my vet and ask. When I got the prescription for the pens, I had to explain to my vet how I used a syringe with the pen. I kept arguing and he finally said oh okay. I thought I was going to have to order syringes online.

Hi Carla,
I guess they thought you wanted the syringes for illegal drugs!! In the future simply tell them that it is not possible to draw doses in half units or quarter units if you use the needles that fit in the Solostar pen. You can only draw a dose in full units. We buy our syringes from ADW. The first time you order you may need your vet's RX (you can ask the vet to call them if they need an RX; some states require an RX some don't). Thereafter just write in the "comments" box that your vet's RX is on file.

Furball is looking good. Glad her ear is ok.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Sorry you were sick today but seeing that green was pretty nice! Surf it tonight please Furball.

What a hassle on the syringes. I'm so glad we don't need a prescription here.

How lovely to see Furball at the lagoon, even if it was a short visit. And you got your blue PMPS! Yay!

We now have to have a prescription to purchase a box of syringes here. They'll sell you one or two packets of 10, but a box of 100 requires a script. What a pain! I finally got my vet to put refills on the darned script so I don't have to keep going back every few months and getting a whole new one!

I hope Furball surfs safely for your tonight and that you get a good night's sleep.
