Good morning!

My Cooper boy is doing well this morning. I just have to gush about him for a second. When I test his BG, I always give him a freeze-dried chicken treat after the meter gives the reading. He gets so excited for those treats that when he hears the beep, he does this tiny purr/meow and curls his little toes in anticipation. :cat: So cute! And funny that I've Pavlov'd him to the beep of the meter lol!

Anyway, I'm just so glad he is eating!!

And his toe-curl thing in response to the meter beep! So adorable!

Nice to read a good report on Cooper.
Isn’t it funny how they learn to associate sounds to things?
I set my alarm on my phone for the cats’ meals and Harry always comes up to me when it goes off. If I am distracted and don’t respond straight away, he taps me on my arm to remind me.

When Ivy hears the auto feeder open, she jumps up and runs to the feeder. She will climb over me if I’m in the way. She sure has learned that sound!

Cooper used to do the same with his auto feeder!! He worshipped that thing and would constantly go "check on it" to make sure it didn't produce food without him knowing LOL. Not so much these days. Ivy is like, "Moooooove!! I have important things to attend to!!!" :p
 
Why does Cooper seem to be trending down right now? I know it's not a huge difference, so maybe this is considered flat? I wasn't sure if I should stay up to monitor.

He ended up not finishing his breakfast, but ate the rest of it plus another can at dinner.
