Good morning ~O) ~O) ~O)

It's a rainy one here and Ollie and I want to go btb. :YMSIGH: He has all 5 p's in place...actually ran from the LB faster than I have seen him move in a while! Wish he could flush!!!

I liked how flat he stayed yesterday. Maybe we have leveled out the big +3 drop....at least we did yesterday. Ollie woke me at +6 for a test (I'm pretty sure it was for a snack but he got a test & snack). He was still in the 70's...so not much of a nadir (?)

Starting today at 85. Wonder what Ollie has up his sleeve :roll:

Is it good that he is staying flat/not much of a nadir?

Linda...I thought the same thing...I could take today off without a problem. :-D

Thelma...I'm pretty sure it is good. Ollie had been dropping at +2 and +3...just when I would be trying to get to work. His spreadsheet may be pretty but there are some numbers that are nailbite_smile low for me. I had to learn how to use food to keep him safe. This board got me there. Now Ollie changes again. :roll: I think it is good...the insulin is keeping him in healing numbers all day. He is regulated...finally!! I should have found this board sooner...it has been a long road. If my goal is to get him off insulin (not my goal but is a big hope :-D )then I should be happy when he goes low and his dose is reduced and he shows he's healing. That's what Linda sees with me starting off green with an 85.

I might have this wrong so please correct me if so...I'm really still learning, :-D

I better be careful what I wish for :oops:

We'll take a 0.25 reduction tonight. :-D I gave Ollie some HC mixed with LC (MC?). I hope for a nice long surf in the 60's. I will be able to keep a good eye on him today.

ETA...I should have gotten a +2 :oops:

Hi guys .. oh yes, it is very nice when our kitties stop their big drops .. nice and flat is the way to be, especially in these nice healing numbers! Come on ollie, let's get that food in you and a nice surf underway! Have a great day guys!

ollie's ss looks like he's on the express train down the mountain. you're doing fabulously at managing his numbers, patsy! pats on the back for you!

as far as i know you're correct on your explanation above - keeping them in greens lets their pancreas heal as much as possible. good job!

Wow! Was there a +4? Here's hoping for a long, smooth, surfin' kind of day! Ollie looks superb in green. :mrgreen:
