Yesterday there was a lovely morning followed by a bouncy evening and we are evidently still in bounce recovery mode. Bounces seem to be lasting longer, not sure if there's anything I can do other than keeping on the patience pants.

Sorry for the late post. I played hooky at a quilt retreat for most of the day. DH was helping at the high school rowing regatta (a gong show!) but came back from a mid day check on Neko. No worries - sky high today.

The day started out lovely. The alarm woke me up and I had two cats snuggling beside me. Neko at her usual spot by my calf and Theo at my waist. It was bliss and they were even sort of close together without Neko complaining. I didn't hear either of them come into bed last night. I didn't want to get up. The day went downhill from there. I had just let Neko out for her morning yard patrol after brekkie, when the skies opened up. A loud clap of thunder and then the hail started. I don't think I've seen Neko move that fast for a while, rush inside and straight under the bed! And that was the last time she was out until a deck patrol late in the day. Definitely not outdoor weather when the beans were home. She's only allowed out if one of us is around to supervise. There was some sun midday, so I hope they had some quality solarium time, which is sort of like being outside.
