Yesterday was...... BLUE day in MannieLand!, with a splash of yellow for the PM cycle. ;-) WOOT, WOO HOO, YAY! Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group played live on the radiators of Rusty's house
Well done kitties! Mannie had a great start in the morning, with a nice low blue, a nasty food spike followed by a good return to the blues where he spent the rest of the day. I did feed him extra at +4, since DGS and I were about to leave. I wanted to ensure that he would be safe. We came home to more blues. AWESOME! The PM cycle was speckled with yellow, but over all a great day for Mannie. Can we do that again today Mannie? Without food spike that is... Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

We are back to the cold and damp and wet PNW typical fall weather. :roll: Nobody wanted to go out yesterday, especially Mannie. He poked his nose out briefly in the morning: that was a NO WAY for sure. That was all that made it out too: just the nose. :lol: :lol: That was met with a gust of wind and rain and wet pine needles, which took care of any further outdoor ventures. He thought he'd try again in the late afternoon, just after his dinner. This time he made it as far as a foot out onto the deck. Unfortunately within a minute is was a downpour again. Poor Mannie. He sat there, looking a little forlorn... so I leaned over and whispered in his ear: Nanners. back in he came, off to his warm fleece bed that had been filled with nanners earlier, courtesy of Nicholas. That was cute - it was time for us to leave so I could drop him off for his trip home with DD and DSIL. He would not leave until he had put all the nanners in Mannie's bed. Once satisfied all was as it should be down the stairs he went to put on his shoes.... Mannie you are one lucky dude! This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand.
Have a great day everyone. No clue what will be here today. I suppose I should tend to all the things that never get done while DGS is here. and there is always the shopping and the laundry and the errands, and and and.... I would like to hike, but WOW on the weather: rains in most places, and the fist reports of snow in the moutnians are beginning to surface... hmmmmmm. well we shall see on all of that.
Hey everybody! AWESOME day yesterday - WOO HOO a fantastic fall day in NY at Rusty's. We even got to see the deer family. Way cool! Today we gots to get ready for Fur Ball's OTJ party! I am so excited - COLORADO! Mile high Colorado!!! This will be so fun - I gots the bus all packed and ready to go. Maybe we could hang out here for a bit before we go.... I got this new pizza recipe I wanna try - out. It's made with a salmon crust! cool huh... So - kitchen krew - get ready! Grab your hats and ladles and spatulas and aprons and any of your kitty friends that wanna be on the krew. All kitties are welcome. let's roll - we is off to Colorado. ~~ Chef Mannie
And completely OT: here are some photos from my and DGS's adventure yesterday: Swimming. We didn't go anywhere after that - he was fighting a cold, and very tired after the pool time, so I let him take as long of a nap as he wanted. There just wasn't much time to go anywhere after that.
