Today we are going to see what a zero-carb breakfast does. Paws crossed. Otherwise, we are looking at another increase, which is nuts!!

If you need to increase I’d go with a full .25.

 

The zero carb thing is a bust. Increasing tomorrow to 4 units. This is the wrong direction, Jill. How do we get to remission from here?

 

Maybe try food experiments and get a test shortly after to see if there is a difference? Like a +1 or +2? Maybe getting a +3.75 or +4 is too much later and she's leveled out by then?

Could be. But she’s still getting into yellows so it’s not working enough.

True. Hmm. Her breakfast is 2 or 3 hours before AMPS? I suppose you could try feeding her a bit earlier?

 

Is that correct? You don’t want to feed much during the second half of the cycle unless feeding the curve.

 

She eats at AMPS and again at +1.5
Then zero carb spoonful at +9 ( all the other cats dinner time)
PMPS, +1 and +2

most of these times have to coordinate with the other 7 cats here. If they eat, she eats.

Well crap. You don’t have much leeway to work with with feeding then. I didn’t realize she ate so infrequently. I’d give the lower carbs more of a chance maybe? Or perhaps the increase will make it a moot point…

 

Jill would disagree, but to me, it feels like she eats a lot! What is your feeding schedule?
