We're almost there! I know i've been doing a lot of testing but i'm seeing certain foods seem to raise her BG a bit more and I've been tweaking the feeding schedule to get her AMBG levels lower as they had started getting into the low hundreds.
I think we are going to get microchip feeder bc I can't et her to eat out of the timed one and I cant just plain free feed bc of the other cats anyway. We'll feed her a regular breakfast, lunch and dinner bc she doesn't really like wet food and it'll ensure that shes getting enough calories...but I'll try the automatic feeder for the evening and early morning snack. And if she doesn't eat it, it's not that big of a deal. I'm also working at finding what foods she likes that aren't seafood bc she is a seafood junkie.
I'm so excited! tomorrow is day 14! Graduation day lol
I could never have done any of this without the help of the people in this group! And on another exciting note...the vet wants to learn how I did this! I did a whole bunch of things she had advised against but the numbers speak for themselves and she want's to know. She still want's Henri on Rx food but no way im doing that. This is working and I'm not about to do anything drastic and ruin it. Hopefully Henri's ultrasound from yesterday comes back good and if she's officially in remission, she'll stop pushing the Rx foods on me. Toe beans crossed!
