A higher start after yesterday's miraculous beach day, but not unexpected. We'll see what she's planning for today, besides a nap in the sun on her crinkly paper.
Happy Sunday and safe surfing to all! :bighug::coffee::cat:

Its great to see the lower numbers when they seem non-existent sometimes. I see youve been at this for a while. My kitty Karamelle also has Pancreatitis. How long has Chispa has this? Did you see a change in her numbers when she was diagnosed? Karamelle is at the tail end of a pretty bad flare and I had to keep raising her dose, then when the flare was coming to an end, she plummeted and I had to lower it.

Hi Jo! Chispa has had what I would call asyptomatic pancreatitis since at least a year or two before she became diabetic. She's never shown signs of pain or GI distress from it (knock on wood) ... it's only the lab numbers that have consistently pointed to it.

I'm so sorry that Karamelle has flares, and I'm glad she has recovered from the recent one. She's such a pretty girl! Please give her a skritch from me :cat::)

Thanks, Staci! I am just amazed at her numbers from last night and today. This evening is the expected bounce, but that's ok; at least now I know she can do it.
Happy Sunday evening to you, and safe surfing to Ivy! :bighug::cat::bighug:
