It has been a couple of days since I posted.

Charlie's numbers have been pretty good, but yesterday I noticed he was somewhat lethargic. He vomited everything roughly an hour after dinner last night. He ate a little chicken baby food during the night, but not a lot and wasn't interested in drinking.

I expected his BG to tank overnight since he didn't have food in his system but instead it went up. Is this typical?

His AMPS was within his normal range this morning and he seemed hungry and did eat so I gave his normal dose. He just vomited a very small amount so I'm hoping he keeps everything else down.

I did a ketone test this morning which was negative.

Any thoughts?

Stress of any kind can temporarily raise the bg. Hopefully all will be good now. Hungry is good. Feed small amounts at a time and see.

Thanks. I'll keep a close eye on him today and try to get another ketone test later today to verify the negative reading.
