10/2 Zoe insulin question

Sorry for a second condo - I can't edit my first one from my phone.

What do I do about her shot tonite? We will be about 3 hours past her evening shot time - I need to keep her on the 5/5 schedule - can I shoot a reduced shot tonight (say 1 unit) and then get back on the schedule tomorrow am? She is going to be high tonight - vet said she was pretty stressed out.

I don't think shooting a reduced dose and then getting back on schedule is a good solution. How stressed was Zoe with a 76 at +2? Even if she was stressed at the vet, her numbers are likely to come back down once she's home.

Unless they found ketones when they did a UA, I'd think about skipping. Do you know what her BG is now?

I don't think they found any ketones - at least vet didn't say they did. I will check. I don't think they checked her bg at all today - could be wrong, but she didn't say anything when I talked to her. I will check her as soon as we get home - which should be in an hour or so.
