Yesterday's Condo

Willie's day is off to a mostly good start. Both he and the bean overslept this morning, so shot was 30 minutes late. Given that we were at 155 and seemingly rising last night, I was more than pleased with that PS number! We both went btb, but Willie decided that the unwhipped BG was unacceptable, so spent much of the morning trying to wake me up. He'd jump up onto his early morning testing spot on the bed, jump down and nudge the bag of purebites, then if that didn't work, would sit there and repeatedly shake his head for about 3 seconds to make his collar jingle.

over. and. over.

Finally, I got up, checked his food and mixed in the now melted kitty cube of raw and sprinkled with purebites. He begrudgingly ate a bit. After making me stand with the door to the garage open for a minute or so, he decided it was too chilly to go outside, and is now curled up next me on the blanket on the bed. Apparently, he would like to nap now. :evil: :evil: :evil:

Starting to get cool in the evenings here. Dug out the electric mattress pad and was happy to see that even though it is a full size, I can get it to fit on my queen sized memory foam mattress. Does make getting up in the mornings even more difficult... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Today's agenda includes finishing the laundry, more cleaning and grocery shopping, and I really should get some work done. ugh. no fun!!

Your Willie is a hoot. Read your post in the Loose Lips condo about how he manages to go through it. What a silly kitty.

And he obviously wanted you up and about this morning.

Willie is indeed looking good.

I wanted to come check on your boy as you have been so kind and thoughtful to Boris and me over this past week. Willie sounds like a character - one to make you smile alot. Hoping you both have a great day - even if it's all chores! :)

It sure must be nice to be a cat....after all, a world that revolves around only you has to be PURRRFECT.

I'm glad you managed to get in some extra zzzz's this morning because that list of to do's sure doesn't sound like much fun. I hope you can find some time to kick back and relax....enjoy the weather and of course.....cuddling on the couch with Willie!

Very nice cycle for Willie. BTB is indeed wonderful, but I think I'm overdoing it. Boy am i behind on things!

Hey Willie, keep an eye on Tess at the lagoon! She seems to want to get reacquainted w/ the mermaids.

Pretty numbers for Willie! What is it about kitties and doors? I guess they just want to keep all their options (and doors) open. Weezer will ask for a door to be opened, walk through and sit down on the other side, being careful to keep her tail in the doorway!

Willie will be happy. Returned the Innova (too high carb) AND the BG Turkey today and exchanged it for some Wilderness, BG Chicken, Wellness, and we're trying out some Natural Instinct. so far, so good... the instinct looked a bit too chunky, so whirred up the rest of the BG Turkey and a can of the Instinct in the chopper and the resulting mousse was a big hit. He's currently napping in the crook of my leg on the sofa, head resting on my ankle. should get up and get the linens out of the dryer so I can make the bed and get to sleep, but he looks so sweet, I can't disturb him just yet. Guess I'll finish watching Pan Am on the DVR and then we'll head to bed. :-D :-D

Poor Dubs. With that 48, I headed to the kitchen to get him some carbs. I bring his bowl to his place setting in the dining room (yes, Willie has his own placemat), and he's still sitting on the bed, irked that he has yet to receive his treat. With avoderm in the bowl, all was forgiven, esp. now that he's had his, albeit late, treat. I think we are both excited to be headed to bed... I'm not sure which of us likes fresh bed linens more... :lol: :lol: :lol:

What a day for Willie!!! So funny about his persistence in getting you up. just watch...on the day you HAVE to get up for work, he'll be snoozing on that warm mattress.

Your cuddling with him sounds like a great way to start your Sunday.

Hope you get some rest tonight.

Saw your post on our condo. I highly recommend an AC if you think you might get another kitty. I used our regular one (who worked with me Friday night) when we got Gracie and also Tobey. The important thing is that if Willie says he doesn't like the idea, that doesn't mean you can't do it. Gus was the only kitty to think getting a kitten was a great idea when we got Grace and Tobey. But Gracie and Max became best friends after three months and Gracie...who vehemently did not want Tobey...became close buds with Tobes.
