holy &@#$ the records keep getting broken! I think the lowest I ever shot Hendrick's breakthrough dose of 2.75U was a 68, and he earned a you-know-what that day iirc.

Smudge is on a mission! Seems determined to work this dose to new lows. Let's goooooooooooooooo
That's what I said to my husband this morning, he's on a mission today and I'll need to test 2/3/4/5, since he's nadiring around 4ish lately. Aahh!! :D

He just seems to love breaking his own records!

Cats do tend to go lower at night. Hendrick earned his first you-know-what at 12:30 am. That is probably your biggest challenge right now.

That's exactly what I was thinking about this evening. On the bright side of having more data now, he seems to nadir around +4, so if I need to keep checking, so be it. Giving me a run for it today!

yes, the sugar dance will keep you on your toes for sure!

Yes! Totally amazing. Wow, I hope he's on a mission. Alli, you are really to be commended for diving into everything like this and doing so much testing. Look at all those greens! I hope Smudge feels much better now in those lower numbers.

Thanks for chiming in :)

@allicatmeow Suzanne is one of my personal heroes --- she played a huge part in Hendrick's remission. Suzanne and Elise (tiffmaxee) in particular, with many others like Bron, Melissa, Bhooma, Sienne, Wendy, Christie, and @Diane Tyler's Mom all contributing in one way or another. It really is amazing what the people here will do for strangers and their cats. Dedicating their time and energy without a second thought! Hendrick would probably be gone by now without them. And certainly not in remission.

..Oh jeez where's that tissue box

What a wonderful tribute, Kyle! You are very lucky to have had all of their help with your kitty, Hendrick :bighug:

I am taken aback every day here by how kind everyone is, but most of all, how willing to help the resident experts are. They could be doing anything else but they CHOOSE to be here every day, checking in on those of us doing the sugar dance with our babies.

Luckily, I have the tissue box nearby for my head cold.:)

52 @ +2
His finishing up his LC dinner as usual now, will add a little HC gravy when he finishes.

wow 52!!! Go Smudge!!

In all seriousness, please remember to be vigilant for signs of a hypo. Numbers only mean so much, some cats don't even seem to notice numbers just a little lower than 50 where others can have symptoms. ECID :D

He is definitely not outta my sight for the near future. Having his usual evening nap on his dining room chair. Had a teaspoon of 15% FF gravy lovers after his typical LC dinner leftovers at +2.
