Thanks for the visit last night Deborah.

Ripley is doing great today.
Normal morning routine: She showed-off her LB skills (while civvie Smokey was distracted by eating, of course, so Ripley wouldn't get ambushed on her way out of the LB :roll: ), slurped her breakfast, and squawked for more treats to decorate her breakfast (all the while with a little bit of food on top of her nose :lol: ).

We are going to have out house power-washed today (precursor to having the house painted); I wonder if the noise is going to stress Ripples. I'm sure she isn't going to like the loud barking from drooler Marley ~ he's an indoor dog, and always barks when anyone he doesn't know comes near the house. He makes for a good (and loud!) alarm system.

Ripley is looking lovely as always! Fingers crossed the furkids won't be bother by the powerwasher. I've done my own powerwashing here, and the kitties just follow me from window to window to see what I'm up to (except Trix...absolutely nothing phases her!) , but I'm sure my little powerwasher is not as noisy as the professionals' are. I caught my civvie Zen about to ambush civvie Frankie while she wa coming out of the LB the other day, too! He can have a tendency to pick on the girls at times, but I had never seen him do THAT before...I hope it's not a regular thing.

Hi guys ... pretty start this morning ripley! What is it that makes a cat want to ambush another cat coming out of the LB? Neither one of my girls do it, they must be to lady like, but my parents cat's do it all the time! Odd .. Hopefully the power washing won't scare the furbabies .. have a great day!

Thanks for the visits today, Amy and Devon.
Came home to a sparkly house (at least on the outside :roll: :lol: ), and normal-acting furkiddos.
Our civvie Smokey likes to pick on Ripley, and Ripley rarely stands up for herself. Smokey will even wait on the other side of doorways and ambush Ripley as she walks by. It got so bad last year that Ripley would sit in the middle of the kitchen and meow until I or my DH picked her up and carried her out of the kitchen doorway into the living room. We try to keep active-Smokey busy with toys (like those magical paper towel rings!) to keep her distracted and tired so she doesn't want to pick on poor Ripples. But it happens anyway :roll: .

Time to go visit a few condos and then hug Ripley, Smokey, and Marley.

I'm glad the power washing didn't seem to phase your furbabies. I know what you mean about hugging them. I can't believe Stella is gone. Poor Mary.

Lovely green for Miss Ripley :mrgreen: Glad the powerwashing didn't bother your furbabies. I also wonder about the LB sneak attack? Why must they do that? My boy civvie, Simon, does it to Cleo, but Cleo is usually chill with it, gives him no reaction. So, no fun picking on her. And, he is the biggest crybaby when Opie (youngest civvie) puts a move on him! :lol:

I will give my guys an extra hug tonight also~
