So I’ve held her at 35 for a while because if I go any higher, I won’t be able to get enough insulin. Still want to get the acro test but with the way things are right now that is looking like it’s going to take some time.
Her numbers have stayed relatively the same until today.
Last night she threw up for the first time in a long time. And today she’s acting lethargic. Mainly she’s hanging out in the same spot most of the day. The most noticeable changes that she’s not running at 100 miles an hour into the kitchen when I go to feed her, my wife went to give her a treat. (Baked chicken cut into cubes) and usually when she hears the bag opening she comes flying and meowing. But she didn’t do that. She did eat it and she is eating and coming in the kitchen but she’s waiting till the foods in the bowl which usually I’m tripping over her.
This happened once before and I thought that she was just not as hungry because she was close to getting regulated but wow that would be great. I think she’s not feeling well. I love for the numbers to stay low but I don’t want her feeling sick. Going to try to get a urine catch on her and dip it for keytones.

Also… She’s always at my door when my alarm goes off in the morning waiting for me and this morning, she was not. That was my first sign. Some thing was off… Aside from her, throwing up, but sometimes cats just throw up we all know that.

How is she doing now? Any luck testing for ketones? Any more pukes? How is her appetite?

@Wendy&Neko
She actually doesn’t really seem to be acting as lethargic. She’s back to following me into the kitchen and she was playing before no more pukes. No luck getting a free catch. Urine yet. Her numbers are trending downward, though. She’s at 127 at +8. So I’ll be getting her a.m. pre-shot number in four hours when I get up again. Playing it by ear for now.
