Had his blood work done tuesday. T4 is fine and so is B12. He's gained 5 pounds since he's been here, which brings him to 14.15lbs up from 9.7lbs in june. I'll have to start watching his weight but honestly he is a big framed cat to begin with. At 9lbs he was all bones!

I've noticed that when I switch to FF turkey and giblets vs. chicken feast his BG's rise? Weird because if I remember on the food chart the % are not that different. I remember reading a while back that different "meats" can alter a BG? Could have been a coincidence for the cat it was posted about. Just wondering any thoughts?

I've read that too. Seems different cats do react differently to the protein source.
We just tried lamb tonite , it was eaten willingly, and Helen /Rosy told me to watch, lamb makes Rosy 's bg rise.
I'm going to check and see if we get that reaction.

just another one of those ECID things to mystify you until you figure it out. :-D

Hi Jenn

Great News about his weight! I don't feed those foods so I don't know.

If he doesn't come down tonight into blue, how about a dose increase by .25u tomorrow?

Seep well...Ni Ni.
