Yesterday was...... BLUE day in MannieLand!, with a splash of yellow, and a sprinkle of pink. ;-) WOOT, WOO HOO, YAY! Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group played live on the dunes of Sunny California :cool: Well done kitties! Mannie had a great start in the morning, with a nice low blue, a nasty food spike followed by a good return to the blues where he spent the rest of the day. I did feed him extra at +4, since DGS and I were about to leave. I wanted to ensure that he would be safe, as he was dropping... and he doesn't always stick to his normal nadir... so we fed. And came home to more blues. AWESOME! Can we do that again today Mannie? Without food spike that is... Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It is such fun to watch DGs and Mannie have their first of the morning interactions. Mannie is still a little wary: what will it be? SPEED RACER? THE VOICE? He still sits behind the sofa, peeks at the first sight of Nicholas, then makes his move: intermingle, or off to the basement. :lol: :lol: Nicholas in te meantime is trying to find him, nanners and rainbow nanners in hand. They usually run into each other mid hall. It is all just too fun. Mannie got extra fuds yesterday morning, as a precaution before DGS and I headed on out. Mannie was so intent upon eating "the good Stuff" that he ignored little hands that were messing with his feet, playing with this pompom, checking out his fur, trying to give him a nanner. What a Hoot. They must have been really good fuds! The kitty did not flinch. :shock: :lol: :lol: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am on DGS duty today, then off for 4 days - I will try and get to condos once DGS has gone home for the day. Today we will swim in the morning, and then hopefully we can visit a river or river park. Paws crossed that Mannie gives us a permission slip... and that the weather improves: right now it is downright nasty! I will miss you guys, and your furkids! Be good kitties! think blue, think green! :cool:

Hey everybody! WOO HOO on yesterday - the dunes were so fun! I Lubs it there. I feel like a chillaxin' day today... ya know: fleet, hot toddys, wood stove, radiators. HEY! That sounds like Rusty's! hey Rusty - can we come and chill out at your place today? Will Auntie EllaBean let us bake cookies? Let me know - I am so ready for anything!~~ Mannie

And completely OT: here are some photos from my and DGS's adventure yesterday: Gold Creek Pond. Nicholas and I had GREAT time up at Snoqualmie Pass. We went to Gold Creek Pond, just off the top of the mountain pass. What a great place! it was a loop hike, about a 1.5 mile circle around this beautiful small lake, well pond they call it. The water was crystal clear, the mountains within view, fall colors everywhere. What a glorious time! Hi guys .. yes! Another blue day for mannie is in the works, I can already tell! Mannie and nicholas are quite the buds, I'm sure you've enjoyed seeing their friendship grow .. Loved the video's from yesterday, the one that sounded like a babbling brook was my favorite .. I closed my eyes and almost fell asleep :lol: have a great day guys!

Hi Devon - thnaks - I sure do love these blue cycles. Now to get some greens in there now and then... :-D yes on Mannie and DGS - it really is lot of fun. THX on the videos. It was so cool for me to play that one and hear that the creek sound came through. Nicholas really liked that spot too. :-D :-D :cool:

Morning Michelle and nice blue yesterday, I think the 208 is food, so bet Mannie has some nice blues today, too. Wow Mannie on that Venti quad almond rocha mocha drink. I have an order in for two of them today! ~O) ~O) So cute with the introduction when Nicholas first arrives. Wow, awesome pics and a great adventure yesterday. They actually sound good. :lol: :cool: Me too on the 208, knew it when I fed him the FF Chicken this AM, looking for a little bump up to keep him in a good place until I can pick up DGS. I expect blues today, maybe a green or two. Paws crossed! THX on the pics. I LOVED that place yesterday - it was so incredibly pretty there, and all was so doable for Nicholas. He had a very nice time. Paws crossed for a break in the weather today - it looks like we may get lucky - I see a break when we would be going out, after the pool.

Yo Mannie, We have rain too, but it's nice and warm inside. The radiator just came on and I'm sittin' on top of it, watching the deer family eating their breakfast. Bring the gang here today. I'm going to mix up some hot tuna toddies. I'll have to look around for marshmellows. I don't think my beans eat marshmellows!

I love how Mannie and Nicholas are feeling each other out and play - what a great story! And Nicholas trying to give Mannie his nanners. :-D The pictures are wonderful - it looks so peaceful and calm. It must bring a calm to you to be outside on a great day with your GS and with a permission slip from Mannie.

DGS and I had a great time at the pool - swimming was fun. Our weather is so dismal and wet today, that I decided to let him swim as long as he wanted, and then home for a good nap, exploring will come later. I will let him sleep as long as he wants... he's been fighting a cold, so rest will be good. If we go out it probably will be to the local trail here. He is so sound asleep that he may just sleep through exploring time...

Hi Ella - THX on the pics - it really is a nice lace, beautiful, and very kid friendly. He did well with the loop - did hike it all, a whole 1.5 miles. of course we made several stops along the way do he could play in the creek,throw rocks, check out the plants. :-D :-D Thx on today - swimming was great, not too sure on the afternoon. It is pouring out there now. great.... I have/will let him nap, for as long as he wants.

Hi Ann - my blue smilie!! YAY! Yeah, that it is: a regular occurrence. it so reminds e of how things were a year ago when all he posted were blues. We lost that back then. I sure hope he won't this time around. Paws crossed. Oh yes on the pics - this was just that: one big WOW. An absolutely beautiful lake, and mtn views. I only found out about it last week... I definitely will take him back there. perfect spot for a young child.

Hi Lisa - Me too on DGS and Mannie. They have their moments, which are always outweighed by things like their greetings, sharing fuds, and those nanners! THX on the pics - and that place was exactly as you describe. It does bring on sense of calm, well being. I love it, love taking him to places like that. Really great moments together.

Hi Ann - Thanks - it was a good one for him. We ahd blue until just before pmps. A permission slip for sure. Nicholas and I just did the swimming today. He is coming down with a cold, and slept along time after the pool. So i decided it was best to let him do just that. We had an hour of play and story time after that. With ice cream after that. :-D It was a quiet, but nice afternoon. :-D

Mannie, whatzup? Didya share some of that ice cream with the little bean? Otherwise, a spectacular day for Mannie - I hope this keep on keeping on. Interesting that a year ago he was the same blue cat, but a higher dose.

And those pictures, just gorgeous! So nice to have little lakes that the two of you can walk around. We ended up on a sunny note here today and it was actually dry (but cloudy) this morning.

Hi Wendy - You could be right on the ice cream... it was a double fudge brownie chocolate - that would certainly up one BG. I will have to ask Nicholas to see if he shared.... :? It is interesting when one looks back a year - we had so much blue then, and at a larger dose - so true! Back in the days when he loved the 2.75, 2.50. How things can change. THX on the pics - I really did enjoy this one - an easy loop, but what scenery! I wish we had that sun today - none her at all: rains all, day. **sigh**

Thanks Marje - he;s been doing well. lots of blues, some greens: some I see, some i think I miss. all in all, not too bad. LOL on the barista chores... another adventure for him. and yupp on starbucks - that and a salted caramel mocha. both are good. I hope so on today too - thanks!
