LOL. Tell us more!

He normally eats up on a chair, and managed to knock it off the chair (unsurprisingly really, I should have known better). Let me tell you what a mess his dinner made in the inside of that! Next up, I put it up in the middle of a table with some boxes and the like around to deter pushing it off the table. It was sufficient for two out of the three test runs last night, but the last one he managed to push it onto the floor while licking freeze dried chicken out of it.

Finally, I put it on the floor with the lock engaged before I was ready to load up his +9, and he managed to bite (?) the lock mechanism in a way that opened the door. He hadn't gotten the +9 out by the time I went to bed, but who knows when he ate it?

I can't keep it on the floor during the day, otherwise the dogs will totally eat it, so I'll have to see what I can do to secure it to the table!

Thanks for the laugh I got this morning! You can’t keep him in a separate room away from the dogs when you can’t watch? They are very creative creatures our pets!

Now that you say that, I do have one room that I can exclude the dogs from and still give the cats free access to. I’ll try that tomorrow if he knocks it off the table again!

wow, what a smart kitty. I have heard tales of cats figuring out timed feeder dials! Of course it would be an ASH they are so freaking smart!
My civvie, who as best as we can tell is some kind of Ragdoll mix, hasn’t even attempted to open it. Happy for it, but it’s interesting the difference in breeds/cats!

I always thought Siamese were the smartest and most talkative but our ASH rescue is so much smarter than the Siamese. It's a little unnerving at times!
