Good Morning Lantus Land,

Attie is still about a half hour out from AMPS, but he is doing fine. The foster kitty is doing good too. She seems to be starting to put some weight on that leg and she even attempts to play too.

But I am posting early to share this link with you all....

Mountain Lion vs. Housecat This appears to not be a total photshop, maybe some retouching. The whole series of the encounter with TWO big cats are at the link.

It does look like Attie from the back, but I don't have big cats here....well except for those 48 that were released from the reserve yesterday...LOL....lions, cheetahs, tigers, bears...oh my...

In that area, you just don't want to piss off the neighbors!

It does freak me out thinking these two cats are not afraid around the house! They are inside the fenceline in broad daylight. I would not be leaving the house without a gun. Those cats are sneaky and quiet. They have to be pretty hungry to be coming in that close.

Hi guys .. I too thought that picture was from your house! I'm glad we don't have any of those cats in our area .. I would be to chicken to leave the house! Have a great day guys!

Yikes!
Cool photos. And very glad it isn't Atlas or your house. And I did see the news about the escaped exotics running around in Ohio. Oh boy... look both ways before going out your door! :o

Yes it is a tragedy, but they have called in Jack Hanna from the Columbus Zoo trying to explain that these animals need to be shot on sight. I think they have nearly gotten them all...count is up to 48. There is still a wolf and a diseased monkey on the loose with herpes B.

As of Wednesday afternoon, authorities had killed 49 animals -- 18 tigers, 17 lions, six black bears, two grizzly bears, three mountain lions, two wolves and a baboon. Another grizzly bear, three leopards and two monkeys had been captured and taken to a zoo, Lutz said
