So I just tested Millie at +6.5. The first test was 131. Whoa...quite the drop, considering her two hundreds the last few days. So, I retested, the same ear and the other ear and got 216 and 211. Lesson learned...if there is a surprising drop, test again. It makes me wonder if some of the other suddenly low numbers should have been retested. I'm going to have to take out a second mortgage on my house to pay for my compulsive testing. I wish the Relion didn't require twice the sample size as the FreeStyle. It's still half the price of the AlphaTrak.
PM +2- I got 155 on first test. A little flinchy from earliet today, I did another on the other ear. it was 183, not as big a difference as this morning. Hmmm...

Wondering if you want to consider a lower reduction point of 70 or 80 and take her up in dose.

Yes, ma'am. I was thinking about it on Monday but she'd only been on 1.75 for a week and there were some low numbers. I didn't know if the numbers went low because she wasn't eating so, rather than get in a hurry, I just read the guidelines and considered input, and decided to give it another week. Monday is my day to make changes, and she is eating out of the timed feeder more reliably as I figure out what she likes out of there, so Monday would be the day. Besides the actual mark is so much easier to nail. I probably shouldn't worry about the eating...I weighed her this morning. She has gone from holding at 11.1 to 11.4 and is now 12.1 lbs. Obviously, she is eating. Thanks.
