It depends a bit on his appetite as well. While it went down from his really high numbers, last night it was again voracious and I considered it enough to have him in safe numbers. Other times he was not very hungry so some MC with gravy did the job.

When he drops into limes early in the cycle, a little MC then might help him surf greens for the rest of the night without dropping below 50 again and again. How much carbs you need to feed depends on when in the cycle he drops (earlier requires more carbs than later in the cycle) and how carb sensitive he is.

He always seems to drop early, which is a good thing, for me at least
But yes, besides last night, all other times I gave him MC.
I sort of did not like he was going 40's to 70's then back, so I tried just LC last night.
Just a lil bit more of carbs on top might have halped a bit more.
