Today's sunny yellow breaks the recent blue green streak. We're off to the vetty soon for Tillie's last laser treatment. Both kitties are outside right now on yard patrol. :smile:

There's that famous Zener slide and see a reading for the Green Lagoon. Sending appy vines for both Zener and Tillie. Good luck with Tillie's laser treatment.
Maggie reports no poo to Poo Patrol, but on her watch this morning she made friends with a possum. Sp Zener be careful, Mr. Skunkie is in your yard tonight.

Nice slide for Zener today. I hope everything went well for Tillie's laser treatment and that she is feeling better.

Not a bad cycle for the mighty Z, considering a reduction last night. He slide down almost to dabbling his paddy paws in the lagoon. ;-)

@Roni - the big guy had a pretty decent day considering! No green yet, but close. ;-)

@Ann & Maggie - he was reaching for the lagoon, but not quite there. Thanks for the appy vines, we can always use them! So, Ms Mags has now dropped Mr Skunk and moved on to Mr Possum? She is such a wild thing! :shock: Poo patrol on stand-by.

Thanks to everyone for the vetty vines and wishes for our civvie Tillie. She would not eat this morning and shortly before we were to leave for the vet, Liz came to tell me she was sitting in a very unusual spot for her and was quivering. It was almost time to leave, so we got her in the carrier right away and off I went. Our appointment was only with the tech for the laser and she gave her a check and then reported to our regular vet - no fever or other signs of infection, but she was painful. The vet suspects she was romping around or jumping, since she was feeling better, and irritated her back again. The vet gave her a pill for pain and inflammation called Onsior (robenacoxib). She takes 1 tablet for three days and that's it. Then we go back for a recheck on Tuesday. We'll talk more then about other options to manage her arthritis and associated constipation. The laser has been great and she feels good for a couple of days after, but it is traumatic (and expensive) to keep going every couple of days. Today was the last of a series of five treatments. Any suggestions or anything anyone knows about Onsior is welcome!

Been a crazy day, so woefully behind on condo visiting today. Hope everyone has a good evening. :YMHUG:

Nice day for Zener and congrats on the reducie! Poor Tillie. Healing vines for her. Those laser treatments are $$$. Hope she is feeling better soon!

A nice day for Zener today. I'd love to see yellows as a bounce to all that lovely green he just had.

I talked to Dr.Timian about Onsior when I was at CSU. It's a new NSAID being used for cats, but it is for short term use only and from what the vet said, to be used after operations. It can be hard on the kidneys so I hope QOE has recent bloodwork. If you search for Onsior under FMDB you'll see what others have found out.

@Wendy & Neko - yellows as a bounce is a new thing for Zener! Interesting what your vet at CSU said about the Onsior, I'll do my research on LL, duh! Our vet prescribed for short use - only three days. QOE had recent bloodwork for her dental and all was good with her kidneys.

Silly bean, thought testing at +3.5 would still be yellow from the bounce and an early bedtime. :lol: :roll: :lol: @-) :twisted:
