10/17 Sunshine update

Well, I actually don't have anything from today yet, but she apparently ate fairly well yesterday for at least part of the day. BG is down from the 500s to the 400s, so they may take her off the insulin drip tomorrow and start her on 0.4u of Lev. Urine culture is negative. I haven't heard anything else about what might be causing the high white blood cell count. I'll post more when I know it!

I appreciate all the good thoughts for super-sweet Sunny-girl!

A better update: Sunny has been eating well today, and the vets are going to start transitioning her off the various IV meds - insulin, fluids, etc. They still aren't ready to discharge her yet, though. When they do, she'll be going to Jenna's for further recovery.
 
I'm glad to see that Sunshine is doing better. I hope she makes a full recovery and is back home to you soon.
