Well, my baby is nothing if not consistent these mornings. Still hovering in the high 200's, but cheerfully grooming now that he's finished breakfast anyway.

Last night's Goodwill excursion for something cheap to make into zombie threads was pretty successful. I found a chef's coat, which seems fun. Chef!zombie can totally be a thing, right? It makes me want to make zombie treats to hand out. Do you think brain cupcakes, or brain rice krispie treats sound better? Or is it option C, which is, "Joy, no one wants to eat things shaped like brains, maybe stick to makeup and wardrobe and stop trying to excessively complicate things."

I'm not sure I've stopped by Sherlock's condo previously -- so a belated welcome!

Is there any possibility that you are able to get at least one additional test during both the AM and PM cycles? At minimum, you want to get 4 tests per day. Lantus dosing is based on the nadir, not the pre-shot values, so seeing what's doing on during the cycle is important information.

Hullo! I can definitely get the PM cycles for now, that's no problem. The AM cycles are tricky because I'm only home for the pre-shot, which I handle around 3 am. Then I head out and my wifey's alone for their next small meal, which comes about 3-4 hours later, depending on her alarm and if she gets up with it, lol. She's still learning to do the testing and the shots, so I'm getting her to help me in the PM in the hopes she'll be confident enough to get the AM on her own soonish. I'm hopeful that maybe tomorrow she can try it. She's getting better. She's just been squeamish about the process since our first kitty was diagnosed a couple of years back, so I've always handled it all... but. It's less stressful with two of us, so I've been talking her around.
