Another green start this morning - I figured she'd bounce longer. I'm home til about +4 and then will need to head into work. Unfortunately Eric needed to go in today, so if she's still lower than I'm comfortable with, or going lower, then I'll leave out some MC or some HC, depending on how things are going. She is staying pretty steady and not going down super fast, but her +1 and +2 snacks were 7%.

Ceiling cat is doing okay. Today was the first day Kit really paid attention to him, but that's because he was pawing at the bottom of the bathroom door for the first time while I was trying to give Kit her shot. I definitely think he's lonely because he spends so much time alone. We go in when we're able to, but it's not as often as he'd like. And he cries a lot after we leave. Which just makes me feel better about the decision to take him in, as they'll have more folks around, and other kitties he can talk to.

I have a dance reunion concert thing next week opening - I was told I wouldn't be needed to assist in the prep for it last year. That has not turned out to be true. I also tech our first theatrical production in the new space in 3 weeks, and can't do anything for that show in the actual space until after the reunion. We for sure aren't going to be ready for tech, but I sort of expected that, and have been telling folks pretty much every meeting to expect that because there just isn't enough time/money/labor, and if I hear any nonsense from any of them, I will walk out for the day and they can just deal with it themselves. I might be pretty angry and frustrated about how pretty screwed over I am by the whole situation - I'm still the only person who is not completely in the new building, and likely won't ever be unless they decide to tear the old building down. But having my shop in one building, and the theatre and everything else in another, makes everything just that much more difficult. All that to say, I will likely continue my posting but not able to look at other posts very often for awhile longer. Soon though.

That all sounds very difficult -- I'm sorry your job is causing so much stress, and on top of having two kitties to take care of this week. It does sounds like Ceiling Cat is wanting social time, and he will surely get plenty of that at the humane society.
Glad to see that Miss Kit is on a steady dark green surf today. So considerate of her at this stressful time!
Wishing you luck with everything today. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

She's honestly been so much calmer about the situation than I thought she might be. She usually freaks about changes, and she's just like, whatevs, and then takes a nap. So that's nice!
So glad Kit is sound so well. And glad ceiling cat didn’t upset her. That’s amazing. I think Ivy would freak out if a cat was in our house.

Goos luck with the work situation, Alicia. Sounds super frustrating!!
Hang in there. You must be due for a break in the schedule soon!!

Thanks Staci. This too shall pass, but boy howdy is it gonna suck for awhile. Part of the problem is that we almost always figure out a way to make something work (and be we, I mean it's usually myself and my fellow staff person Shelbi who figure it out), and now folks just sort of expect that we're make magic happen. But we're both tired.

So busy Alicia! I hope things calm down soon. Sorry ceiling cat is so sad, and I guess his potential home fell through (sorry I haven't kept up with posts) You are so good to have rescued him! Safe surfing to Ms Kit ...hope you all have a peaceful weekend :bighug:

Gosh, Alicia.
Not a kind of set up to have if they want things to go smoothly and productively. Not fair to dump all that on your shoulders!
Hope it doesn't get bad for you.

Kit cat is doing fantastically and the CC kitty seems to be adjusting!
Sending you some positive energy vibes :bighug::bighug::bighug:
