hi LL family,
it's been a long time since i opened a condo....i've had NO energy and as you all know i'm sleep deprived but be certain that i keep you all in my thoughts and prayers daily.....

praying for Linda and Teddy...and hoping today he is comfortable at home being loved!

i'm sorry if i've missed anyone else's kitty....i don't mean to not be in the loop...i will try to be up to date even if it is on the weekends....

Rocket has been doing better since our latest episode a week ago....we avoided having to go to the ER....and as you all know...i'm still watching him like a hawk!

today was the first time he asked to go on the balcony....it has been a long time for him...he asked about a week ago too....which is surprising...you all know he loves his balcony...

we take one day at a time....some days he is more alert than others but he is always sociable wanting to be around....

and YES...he still wakes me up at 3ish am....he moved time zones on me....so we cuddle and i tell him daily he is very special to me and that i do cherish each day we have together even at 3 am!

Rocket's vet is on mat leave (which i didn't know she was due so soon as she hardly showed) so i'm left to take him to the owner of the clinic which has NO bedside manners....she is rude and we will see how things go....he is scheduled to visit her on the 27th (earliest i could take him after working hours) but if i can take next Friday off work i will try and see if she can see him then....last bloodwork done dates back to Jul 29....so with his CRF and multiple issues I have the gut feeling he needs to be seen...

hope you guys are doing well....and that the pajama parties are a blast!

don't forget about us...Rocket still needs your prayers....it is your prayers that have brought him this far! i truly believe it....

I'm so glad to hear that Rocket is doing better. I hope he enjoyed his time on the balcony! Another good sign. I don't know how you function with so little sleep. :o I hope you can get a nap in this afternoon. My prayers are with you and Rocket, Claudia. Take care of yourself too. (((Claudia)))

It's so good to see a Rocket condo and to hear that Rocket and you are doing well (albeit sleep deprived!). You are both in my thoughts.

I think it's a good sign that Rocket wants to go on the balcony. It must be one of his favorite places. I can imagine that no matter what time Rocket wakes you up, it is precious cuddle time from him to you. Enjoy every moment which I know you do. Hugs and prayers for you and your sweet Rocket.
 
Claudia, I am so glad to hear about Rocket and how he is doing. And to hear that he wanted to go out on the balcony made me feel so happy! Even though Rocket wakes you up so early, it is a good sign that he still wants his cuddle time. Sorry to hear that you will be stuck with the unfriendly vet at the office when you go for the appointment. I hope Rocket shows her some catitude!

Claudia........how wonderful to see a Rocket condo, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I love those 3am wake-up calls.....that seems to be Zoe's favorite time for snuggles. Sounds like Rocket is doing better....always good to hear.

Hi Claudia, I am so glad Rocket is doing better. It is so hard when our babies stopped doing things they loved to do! I totally understand what that is like!
You are such an amazing meowmmy!
I hope he continues to ask for balcony time! Too bad your interim vet doesn't have good bed side manners. I hope your regular vet returns soon!

Thanks for visiting Rusty's condo today and for opening this condo for the Rocket man! It is good to read that he is feeling better and wanting to go out on the balcony. And the 3 A.M. wake-up calls are OK too. Do you both go back to sleep? Good luck with the vet office. Since you already know what the interim vet is like, you can deal with her!

(((Claudia))) oh sweetie we could NEVER forget you and Rocket. LIke Celi said...you are a huge party of our LL family and we never forget any family. I'm so happy to hear this report on Rocket. I hope you are also taking care of yourself.

We miss you two but understand the demands and the priority is his care. Good luck with the mean vetty....hope she learns some compassion, it goes well, and Rocket's bloodwork is astoundingly beautiful. He is one lucky, lucky kitty.

((Claudia)) just because you don't open a condo every day doesn't mean you are far from our hearts. So glad to hear Rocket is still enjoying life... hope the vet visit goes okay!!

So sorry I was out all weekend but just to let you know You & Rocket are in my prayers every day and we also treasure him here in LL...You know how we feel & know what a survivor he is--Just stand your ground with the vet, Claudia you are a Hero super Momma bean too--So you have us behind you always

Claudia - as always you are i our thoughts and prayers. always.

it is nice to read that he has wanted to go out on the balcony - good for you Rocket! A sign that he feels better. always a good thing.

I hope the upcoming vet visit goes well. At least you know what she is like, so you can be prepared.
