Yesterday

All is great with Shadow this morning. He is staring out the screen door while his sister is in her cube. Bad Mama woke up at 5:45am with her slippers on her feet under the covers. :o I have no idea how I got up to turn off the 2:45am alarm , put my slippers on and then decided to go btb. This is very upsetting. Usually half asleep when I test and feed them at that hour, but to realize that I never really woke up is very upsetting. They were pretty hungry and I fed them even though it was two hours from preshot. Both with very nice numbers. They were both ready to eat breffis again but didn't clean their plates. It really makes me feel very sad to know that I am so tired that I do things like that.

It is a very sad day here in LL again....my thoughts and prayers go out the Krys and dear Kasha today....

Good blue start for Shadow. Are you sure you didn't feed them and they aren't just playing you? :lol: Cats are experts on guilt trips.

Hey Shad-O!! Surfing sound so cool!! We are going to go and rescue Tess too - she has to travel in a bean car to some place where she is in a kitty condo. Let's go and save her, and then we can go to the fish market here. It is really cool - they have lots of awesome BIG fish and they throw them from counter to counter before they stack to sell, and well i am sure that they wouldn't mind if we intercept a few. Sounds like you need to have some power naps today, Pat. I know how frustrating that can be to discover you didn't get up when you wanted to. But Raja and Shadow were fine, even giving your nice amps's this morning. I hope you have a beautiful day.

Aww Pat, don't beat yourself up. You do an amazing jopb with your kids. Look how well, they both are doing.

Disappointing after that blue AMPS. i do sleepwalk and write the BG tests down. I am always interested to see how they did during the night when I have my ~O) in the morning. :lol: I do snap right to full alert if there is a low number beeping back at me!! But if they are just "okay" numbers, i just keep sleeping but i go btb to do it comfortably. I wouldn't do two BG tests and not write either on e down...oh well...they should probably fire me....This inefficiency is not acceptable.

He does this to me all the time it seems....throw out a perfectly fine AMPS that looks like it's going somewhere nice and it turns out to be the nicest number of the day. That's IT shadow. You have lost your focus for sure!

Maybe you tested them in your sleep :lol: Didn't Jojo say she used to do that? Did you check your meter?

Good luck with the new dose. Pat, those kitties aren't going to fire you. They've got someone to wait on them, feed them yummy food and be there all the time for them. Your stuck with the job. :lol:
 
:lol: YES...I did...after I tested them tonight I went back just to be absolutely sure. Yep, I guess I put my slippers on and walked right back to bed! what a jerk. I am really loosing it folks! I figured that testing two of them and not writing the numbers down? Nah...I have a routine down with my printed SS in a tattered notebook that I carry around with me...
but I did double check just the same!! :lol:
At least the slippers on under the covers gave me my first clue. Yeah, I knew right away that something was amiss.
I am sharp like that ya know!! @-)
