oh no...I was trying out a new injection sight and not sure if I did a fur shot. I couldnt feel wet, or smell insulin, which I usually do (I find it so strong and gross) so fingers crossed. But it didnt feel substantially in

Its hard to tel whether this indicates fur shot or not as looking over his chart, recently this is normal at +2.

I am wondering whether the dose is too high and so his body is producing an insulin resistance to protect him in a way.

I keep coming back to this 2uf being a good dose for him.
 
He's not looking at all well today. He wasn't when I woke up and he slept downstairs again....

I just gave him some food. Hope I caught it in time

He had in his place left over from this morning and was sleeping close by so he chose not to eat that. Then he just got up, which prompted me to test him

I gave him another spoon of food.

Do I need to keep testing and feeding, or as he has held it a while should be ok? I'm here for another hour and a half, but then was going to go out. Its not essential though.......
 
Lovely stretch of green. Think you can get a test before you leave? He should start heading up soon. You don't need to stay back.

I thought it must be a dodgy strip so I did another test and it came out at 579

I dont understand how it went from 274 with a feed to suddenly 626
 
He is bouncing and numbers can be pretty wonky when bouncing. And the AT reads a few hundred points higher at higher numbers.
Maybe you want to switch to the Freestyle Lite?
 
Well if it was going to change something for Mar Lei I would but as its simply about me keeping calm, I'll keep on - might as well use them up........
