Yesterday's condo

So glad that I took advantage of the lovely weather and the boys' high numbers yesterday. I took the dogs hiking - same park that hosted the 5k a few weeks ago. That was the first time I had been there. At the time, the trails were well marked, of course, and there were lots of people pointing you in the right direction. This time, my friend Amy and I and 4 dogs had the world's most confusing trail map and some very poorly marked trails. We walked in a few circles, but we made it back and let's just say the pups were already asleep before we even made it back on the bypass.

Today, it is still pitch black at 9 am and it's storming. My civvie Capone is not a fan of storms and Mandarin was extra squirrely for his T/F/S routine. Let's hope that they will both head down a bit today.

I am about to meet some friends for breakfast and will check back on some condos later. Sending lots of light and good thoughts to all the beans who have lost their kitties lately. :bighug:

I am so glad you got out yesterday. :)

I am sorry Capone doesn't like the storms.

Enjoy your breakfast with your friends!

Hey boys! You are twins again! Come down nicely please.

Nice that you got to enjoy the outside since your weather is not so nice now.

Enjoy your breakfast with friends!

Getting a bit turned around on trails can be a bit spooky. Glad you made it out and good for the pups too! DH & I are not familiar the desert trails much and because every cactus looks the same it freaks me out. Hope the storms chill out a little for Capone and that the boys make their way down a bit. Enjoy breakfast and hopefully a kitty snuggle day later.

Well, looks like Mandarin lost the race to the beach before it ever started.. he must have gotten lost on his way there. Meanwhile, Walter is enjoying a lazy day at the beach. ...and the bean enjoyed some delicious strawberry crepes, followed by a lazy day on the couch with the furry crew.

I also just posted for a friend on the health forum. If anyone has some input on Prednisone drops, dental issues, and diabetes, check it out here. Her cat, Stewie, is on Prozinc and I feel like I am of no help, especially with all of his other issues.

Judging by those +3s, both boys might be headed for an active cycle tonight. :nailbiting: I made their snack a little higher in carbs (a tablespoon of Friskies in addition to their homemade food) and we'll see where that takes them. Very glad that they let me sleep last night...
