Winners will get a wacky Paw Prints Pizza! They are running around saying wacky wacky wacky. They is so weird. They is dressed really weird too, for their whack-a-thon. Maybe that is all they will do today: say wacky and dress really funny.... Silly kitties. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. For my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle. ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with mint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday yesterday. We did well here, as we continue into our fourth and final week of having the boys all week. Things are becoming more cohesive, the routines are getting set, even more so than last week. By the time I get this all set I will be back to three days.  Oh well, it's all good! it was a river and train day for us yesterday. The weather was a great fall day, so one just had to be out, so we did! here is what I wrote lat night about yesterday: "Hi Everybody! I hope your day has been a good one. ours was another one for the books... I so need roller blades and a carton of 5 Hr Energy!   In all seriousness, we did have a wonderful day on the Snoqualmie River, and at the train museum nearby. We made this river trip a few weeks ago, and Nicholas likes it so much that we repeated it,and probably will many more times. We went to the Snoqualmie near Twin falls today. What a really great day.It was cool when we got there, warm enough by the time we'd ht the sandy bank part. Sun was out too, a huge plus. William managed to stay awake for most of it, only one major head bob for the last portion. ;-) We were overtaken by a field trip of third graders. omg..... by the bus load.... thank gawd they were headed up to the falls, so we had most of the time on the river to ourselves. :-D Nicholas had a great time. He really explored alot today, told me stories about the things he saw. I love that part: it's all very whimsical, but he really has a great imagination. We threw a ton of rocks, floated more sticks than I could count, and waded just as often. I had to laugh: we went through three pant changes, he was that soaked. Fun fun times! On the way home I stopped in at Snoqualmie, city proper, so he could visit the train museum there. He really likes that place, as it allows for one on one with the trains. They have several parked on tracks that are not used. Nicholas was down and dirty, touching all he could from train wheels to hook ups to pistons, to tracks. Ate lunch number two in the park near the tracks. Sheshhh - what fun for him. The excitement was way cool. Once again I got stories about all the trains, what they did, where they'd been, who was the conductor. You gotta love it. Fantastic day!" The river was gorgeous! take a peek: Picassa links: Snoqualmie River and Trains!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   A few days ago I wrote this about my being on time when I come home. It was the same yesterday! Even though they know that on DGS days that I get home 30 minutes later than normal, still what a fuss!!!! "once again I WAS LATE! 5 whole minutes late, and they cut me no slack     They were not happy. Elsa was staring at me, with that posture that said: SERIOUSLY? Five minutes????" and I swear I saw those squinty eyes that Mannie sued to do all the time when I was late... darn scary those squinty eyes. Bug as pacing, back and forth... back and forth... back and forth... he too as not pleased. And Lola? silly girl was still rolling on the stairs, down the stairs this time, on purpose I think so that she could swat at me as she ran back up them, just to roll down again.... Sheshhhhhh! Then out came the blood oath. and I'm thinking.... "seriously? for a five minute tardiness?" Guess so... Never ever mess with the Three Musketeers!  Funny thing was, as soon as I started up the stairs they threw the blood oath about my being late, never ever, and went an assumed the positions in the kitchen. So began the loudest kitty choir I have ever heard! All that for five minutes. But I guess they really were hungry..... Sorry guys!" They were BELLOWING in the kitchen this time - I could not dish up the fuds fast enough.    SHESSHHHH! I had made a turkey sandwich last night, left the wrapper for the turkey meat out. Little Miss Radar smelled that a mile away, grabbed it and ran. Wat was so funny and not so funny that she was growling, a low guttural growl, the whole time she was running with it. NO WAY was she going to let that bag go. I picked up the bag with her teeth still clenched tight, sunk into the bag. Here she is dangling from the end of the bag.    I finally had to get a water spray bottle and let he have it (20!!!! times ) before she'd let go of that bag. NUTS! silly cat.... Normalcy in MusketeerVille for sure!

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river, as Nicholas asked for one yesterday, again. We may go to one that we have not visited in a while, we shall see what he wants to do. I'm thinking too of taking him back to a lake we visited on Snoqualmie Pass, as the weather should be great tomorrow. Gold Creek is best in full sun. Well... as the norm we shall see what he wants when he gets here. He also asked for swimming, so that may be on for a late afternoon pool slot, after William is with mom and dad. :-D I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

I don't know how you do all that during a single day, and still manage to stay up at night!

Oh, Lola...you silly fuds thief! I don't know, Michelle, she may always be a few steps ahead of you  ....she's a smart cookie!!

Have a great day with the boys!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) Sometimes I wonder too... I think I have a great auto pilot.  I will admit though to several evening sleepy head bobs. ;-) Ya know.... I think you are right on Lola - ALWAYS a few steps ahead of me. Smart little kitty - throw in curious and it's WATCH OUT!  THX on today - it will be great. :-D

Hi Michelle, Super Grammie!!

So glad you had a great day on the Snoqualmie. Wow on those interesting cloud formations! And trains, too! Today's excursion sounds like it will be lots of fun. What will you ever do with yourself when you are back to 3 days??!! (I can think of plenty of things to keep you busy--and maybe you'll be able to catch up on your sleep!)

Lola is incredible. Boy, you can't turn your back on her. That's for sure! I wonder what she has up her sleeve for today?

Enjoy your adventure.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Thanks for the ~O) ~O) Elsa. Don't know what we'd do without your great coffee.

That is way too funny Lola the thief!

Reminds me of one thanksgiving years ago, I put the turkey carcass on my porch for the ferals to enjoy. Well this one male feral picked up the entire carcass (it was as big as he was) and with it dangling between his legs, walked off the porch with it to some special hiding place! It was the funniest thing ever. So, I started calling him TT for turkey thief.

Last Thanksgiving I put out turkey leftovers and Baby Cat who is a descendant of TT and Buster's meowme thoroughly enjoyed and got her teeth stuck in the turkey as you can see here:

Silly cats!

Hi Michelle,

LOL on the vicious kitty protecting her "catch."  I used to have one who growled when she got a meat treat, and stamp her paw down in front of it, saying, Don't Touch!!

What a great day you had with the boys! :-D Nicholas talks so good - must be a pleasure to listen to his tales.

Jane

That's so funny with Lola and the turkey wrapper.

It sounds like a great day with the boys yesterday. I hope you find somewhere fun to go today.

   Lola! What a kitteh! We've had to put all treats into tins to keep Emma AND Tess from helping themselves!

Whooo Hoooo for the last full week. You must be exhausted.

HI everyone! I hoe your day has been a good one. ours was GREAT, LING, but great,. Here is is 8/9 PM and I am finally home.... This was one of the first PM swim slots we have done. Nicholas LOVED it,was his old energizer fish for the amount of time that we were there. I had to cut him short, as it was close to 7PM, and I still had to get him home. Nt too bad when one considers that he spent the day on a river, walked over 3 miles, had a very busy day. He never ceases to amaze me. Just goes and goes and goes. Pool time was great for him - there were several boys there that he played with. Most were much older, but didn't seem to mind that he wanted to tag along. They spent alot of time on the slides, going as fast as they could, aiming for that big splash at the end.  Nicholas did well trying to keep up with them. It was a fun evening. The river today was nice too,. We never really did get the sun that was promised, well, we did, but not until 5PM. It was cool on the river, but none of us seemed to mind. We chased ducks, fed suck, threw really BIG sticks in the river, chased more duck and tossed rock after rock. William did well too. It is interesting how awake he is for most of this stuff. He watched everything, wide eyed and all. That is fun to see. We are lunch on the river, William too. How nice that he doesn't seem to mind having his lunch, aka his bottle, out in the cool air. It was like he'd been at it a long time. Looks like I have two river rats on my hands. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrows condo.

Thanks everyone for visiting today. I am so tired so forgive me for the abbreviated post....
