A much lower start than anticipated - I'm not sure how low she actually went last night (I was OUT), and she seems like maybe she's on the rise? Although I did semi panic feed her 9% at +1. We'll see how she's doing at +3 and if she's dropping at all. I need to go into work today around +4, but Eric is working from home, so unless she's dropping like crazy, he'll feed her while I'm gone.
Her lab work came back this morning - numbers are all looking pretty stable - her creatine and BUN even went down slightly, which is good to see. The only other things that are still high are triglycerides and cholesterol, but I read somewhere that either diabetic or kidney cats tend to have higher values there? Can't remember which. But my girl is doing well! She takes our "oh no, maybe the end is near" and spits on it. *Ptooey!*
Ceiling cat is doing well, eating and drinking well. I no longer have a reference point for how much a normal cat should poop and pee - he seems like he pees pretty often. But I also have a muscle memory of adding a bit of water to wet food for Kit, and he eats a lot of wet food, so maybe just more water than he would usually have?
Photos of Kit and of ceiling cat doing a peek around the shower curtain.
