Good Sunday morning LL!

Saturday recap:
AMPS 309
PMPS 275
+4.5 183 (when I got home)

Can I just say it is SO good to be home! And Jetta! :o :-D  A BLUE pre-shot?!?!? Haven't seen one of those since 9/22. I'm clearly expecting some green today. I just updated her SS from the past several days. It's bare bones of course, so I'm really eager to see what her mid-cycle numbers look like.

Jetta's glued to me. Purring non stop and seems to be feeling great. I look forward to catching up on condos today, I hope kitties and beans are all well. Have a great day!

Jaclyn

Hi Jaclyn, welcome home!!! Isn't it great to be home with DH, Jetta and the rest of the gang? Blue is my favorite color. Jetta, you are doing so well. Please thank DH for posting - I was glad to get an update. Enjoy your Sunday.

Re: 10/16 JETTA AMPS 180

Welcome home Jaclyn! I've been out of town for a few and was so anxious to get home to see how Jetta was doing and am thrilled to see this morning # and to hear how good she's feeling :-D :-D

I was working early last week and saw 4 different cases of flares of diverticulosis. Although different than IBD, it's still shares a lot of the same characteristics (pain, blood, inflammation involved) and the flare can be caused by a lot of the same things (food). Each person I saw related that they could almost completely control their condition with diet alone, and that these attacks were "of their own doing"

This led me to think more about Jetta and IBD and pancreatitis while I was away (sad but true.....), and wanted to mention again the idea of really looking at what she's eating. It makes me think about the commercial foods out there. For us, we watch low carb, because of FD....but don't necessarily take it a step further when other conditions are involved. For example, there's no carbs in certain vegetables, but the residual content of certain vegetables is very high. You give someone with IBD or diverticulosis a seeded fruit/vegetable and look out! I have not run through the residual content of our commercial foods, but have a hunch that for IBD and pancreatitis kitties....so much more could be done with diet.

If you find out more...I would love to know!

Re: 10/16 JETTA AMPS 180

Hi Liz, yes it's good to be home! How I have missed my furkids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Jessica! Sorry to hear you've been thinking about us, but we appreciate it! I've been giving more thought to the other diets you suggested and I'm going to try a few of the pre-made frozen ones (I guess they're raw??) The only thing that scares me is that Jetta has ALWAYS been picky. She won't even eat cat treats! ANyway, I'm home for about a month, so I've got some time to play with diet... I'm thinking boutr contacting Dr Lisa for a diet/nutritional consult (somewhat cost dependant)

Re: 10/16 JETTA PMPS 317

Well, Jetta fell off her blue train :? I was expecting a 300+ PM number since she rose to 256 at +7.5 today. Why Jetta?

And tonight''s shot was flubbed. She jumped ( I always wonder if I stabbed something/hurt her when she jumps away) so the needle bent and I didn't get it all in. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it. I am so so tired after 3 nights on 4 hours sleep each, so I'm going to bed even though it's not even 730. I'll set the alarm to check her later...
