? 10/16 Eddie: +2 230, +4 230, +6 245: All yellow since last night??

That is a bounce, he's been doing it for awhile if you look at the past month or so. Bounces happen when BG drops faster or lower than they're used to: their body "panics" and dumps sugar into the bloodstream. It's different for every cat, some bounce more than others. It'll settle down eventually as he gets used to lower numbers. Over time you'll be able to predict it, it seems to be when he hits green and stays there a little bit. But he clears them pretty quickly.

Yesterday looks like a bounce- breaking cycle, a lot of cats go lower on those cycles...and then sometimes bounce right back up

My guess is he'll break it tomorrow during the day and go "low" again but a bit hard to say.

There is a superstitious belief that a flat yellow cycle is indicative of an upcoming active cycle. It used to happen a lot with Gabby but it seems to be an ECID thing.

I would grab a +2.5/3 to be safe (looking at your SS the +2 isn't always a good indicator, but the +3s in there seem to be...so guessing 2.5 might work so you can get to bed).

If flat or dropping, you'll want to check again during the night. His nadir has been +5 and later, a +4 could help you slow any drops.

I think if it were me, if flat I'd do a +6. If a decent drop, again at +4.

Thank you, I will do that. And if flat, I'll set alarm.
