Good morning from Nashville! It's raining again today, for the second day in a row. Makes it a bit trickier to get up in an early morning when it's so gloomy out.
Sherlock's doing all right for the most part, I think. His chin's finally healed up, so we've retired the dreaded cone of shame. His appetite is good and he's cuddly now that the temperature is dropping outside. We've been on insulin for just a wee more than a week now, but aren't seeing much in the way of change on his numbers. I'm trying to remind myself (with some repetition from DW) that it's not going to happen overnight. Though we couldn't get a curve in this weekend- a yard sale sent both of my boys into hiding, so getting Sherlock into frequent tests was basically impossible- I brought his dose up to .75 to see if that might help. Is there anything else I could be doing better? I test him when I get up and then when I get home again in the afternoon. DW is around for his next morning feeding (about +3 after his shot) but is still learning to test, so we're struggling to get an AM reading after mine. Maybe soon.
