Morning to you all! Happy Friday! Shadow is running around and being very vocal this morning. The front door is open and the cool air is such a change around here. (Ok, I''m actually freezing!! LOL that's what Floridians say when it gets below 85!!)

He is scampering...all by himself...and acting as if he is enjoying life and the new day! He is coming down I think from a bounce. I took his BG a little early at +3 last night and found a pink (haven't seen one of those in about 5 days, even through his beautiful greens!) Hopefully, with these yellows, he is on his way back down today. I love the way he rushes to greet me in the morning..in the bathroom...always comes to say hello and purrs loudly for me before I am fully awake...

Hoping you all have a good day today...we are smack in the middle of October already. How did that happen? :o

ETA: LB deposit just as I posted this....so that's 5 Ps in place for the boy today.

good morning guys! What a great report for shadow today ... love it when they are enjoying life and don't care how crazy they act ... This isn't a bad start to the day, bet you see those greens again! Have a great weekend guys!

Morning Pat!! OK nice yellow, looks good for Shadow today! Yes, it is October & a little chilly here--winds of 40 mph-eeekkk!
But I love the Fall & all the lovely leaves--Yeah, I know you have palms, you could paint them :lol: :lol: :lol: =Soon you will want those warmer days, so....

Tes and Shadow are realllllyyyyy close, I hope they clear their bounces and come down together. Mannie is waiting with the roadster!

Not a terrible AMPS, hopefully Shadow will see some blue today at least. Nice that he's so frisky, I love when they scamper around! Have a great day!

Hey Pat - freezing at 85. :shock: and are you all bundled up? What a difference between florida and washington. here we are still in short and sandles when it is 55. yes, we are a weird lot. :lol: here we sit today with 45. looks like NY is getting hammered, again.

I love purry cats in the morning - Mannie does the bathroom thing too. he hangs out there while I do my thing, guess he wants to make sure I do it all ok and don't end up looking like a weirdo when all done. :roll:

Hope Shadow can find those blues and greens today.

Good Morning, Pat. I love to read happy kitty reports :-D I'm learning to not fret the morning highs. Shadow will come down soon enough, and you'll be a happy bean again. :smile:

A little bouncy.....Hope he finds the lower floors again soon.

Don't even mention weather :roll: Horrible summer (snow in August) September was rain and flooding again (5th time this year) October had a few nice days at first but since a week it's fog and cold, tonight snow and for the next week snow, rain and fog. Some idiot Russian scientist ist predicting that central Europe is going to have a 1000 year winter (permenent frost) and glaciers will begin forning in regions that haven't had a year round ice covering for at least 11,000 years. They predict a new mini ice age that will last about 250 years. I'm already saving and packing (I won't be staying if it turns out to be true and not just another panic mania) then again these same "scientists" said Russia was going to have a monsun summer and cold temps leading to major crop/agricultural losses, instead they 2 months of record heat and dry and major agricultrual losses due to wild fires :roll: Hope those idiots are as on target with thier winter predictions for Germany!

Ever read Virginia Woolf's "Orlando"? Part of it takes place in the mini-ice age of the mid 19th century. The main character changes from a man (when he lived in the 16th century) to a woman (in the 19th century). This tells you a lot about men, women, and mini ice ages. Good weekend reading.

i never feel like my day is beginning right until i read the morning reports in this condo...

i decided if there comes a mini ice age (my criteria being more than a month of snow on he ground) this woman will become a bear and sleep thru it!

Pat...I saw something somewhere (cannot find it for the life of me now) that had info on which insulin (lantus/levemir) might be better for a specific cat. I've looked through all the stickys, etc and can't find what I saw. It was something like "use lantus if....." and "use levemir if......". I was just reading your post on a condo regarding someone switching to levemir and remembered that Raja and Shadow are on levemir...just trying to educate myself on stuff and wondering why R&S are on it as opposed to lantus. (Did I read levemir is less worrisome for hypos??). Thank you!!

Thanks, Pat, for posting in my condo. I found that article earlier tonight....darn I wish I could find the one I'm talking about..so frustrating!!! I even looked in the Levemir group but it wasn't there. I'll search some more this weekend and let you know. Thank you for taking the time to help me.
