Yesterday was...... BLUE and GREEN day in MannieLand!, with a splash of yellow. ;-) Mannie appear to have taken a small dive after his 2 spike yesterday in the AM cycle. I thought with a spike like that I would probably see mid blues for the rest of the morning, unless he was headed up for a yellow floor revisit. Silly me... I should have known better. :roll: I came home to a 72. That sure was a surprise! :mrgreen: He spent the rest of the day in the blues. Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group played live at Disneyland, center stage. :cool: Well done kitties! I sure would like to see a blue and green day again today. Paws crossed for you Mannie. All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D I had so hoped for better weather today.. Alas, it is not to be: more rains and winds. We did get a slight break yesterday - when the rains ceased for about an hour. Mannie was such an adventurous soul... headed on out, winds and all. He did make his rounds, secured the perimeter, looked for invaders, wandered through his patch of ground cover. Then it was a mad dash, well a quick shuffle more in Mannie's style, back into the house. :lol: :lol: I watched him when he was outside - way too funny to see him head face first into the winds, trying not to be bothered my his fur being blown in directions it was not mean to be blown. :lol: :lol: :lol: He spent the rest of the afternoon snuggled up in his bed. Can't say that I blame you Mannie - an excellent way to spend the afternoon. I am so glad that your nanners have found their way there. AWESOME! :razz: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. Our weather continues to be BLECH - lots of rain, winds and cool temps. I am not too sure what I will do today. More than likely more chores and cleaning. Hopefully the rains will let up during the day so I can get a shore walk in. :-D looks like Mannie plans on more nanner napping. ;-) If I can find a dry spot - HAHA (!) I will go hiking... Doubtful on that, really doubtful....

Hey everybody!! WOOT on yesterday! I so lubs DisneyLand, we gots to go more often. heeheehee on the roller coaster Did you see Tess? Way up front in the first car, doing that Titanic Lady thing again. :shock: WOW, she is so brave.... HEY - get your passports ready! we gots to go to Ontario!! CANADA!!! today! Katmandu is OTJ, and we gots a party to cook for. SWEET! any of you kitties that want to help we welcome you to the kitchen krew. it is so fun - we gets to sample every thing too. Ask Maggie - she is our official sample taster. :-D SO grab your aprons and hats and ladles and spatulas. We gots lots to do. Off to CANADA. I lubs Canada! ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle and wow ~O) ~O) on the coffee oh so good. Mannie knows just what we all need on a Monday morning. What a nice day of blued and greens yesterday. Is this the same dose where you took the fat off; if so, Mannie likes it! :-D Maggie was able to get in on the Blue Moonie Group briefly before heading back up to yonder yellow bleachers. I saw your weather report on TWC and was so hoping it wouldn't be an all day rain. Hopefully you can sneak in a shore walk, take an umbrella, too.

Mannie, what a fun day yesterday in Disneyland. Wasn't that roller coaster fun? Off to Canada. I've got all my kitchen utensils to help with the kitchen krew. See ya at the curb, Mags

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) Mannie is elated that you approve of today's beverage choice... it required mtn climbing to get the beans. :lol: :lol: :lol: THX: yesterday was a good one for him, and yes it is the dose that I took the fat off of. I too think that it is good one for him, he seems to be doing OK on it. We re getting into some great blue cycles with it, some greens now and then too. Mannie say Mags can be in the BMG anytime! THX too on the weather - we have a break with some partial sun predicted for late morning/early afternoon, so Mannie be willing I will try for a trail hike. :-D If not, back to the shore for me - always a good option there.

Maggie - I so agree! Disneyland was so so cool. I is ready for Canada - bus is all packed and ready to go. Woo hoo! This will be so cool. See you at the curb ~~ Mannie

I'm sorry the weather has turned icky...but it sounds like a good excuse to curl up with a good book and a kitty or two!

Hi Amy - That it was - blues and some greens! WOO HOO! I like today too - even and steady and headed to the greens maybe later today. :-D And I so agree on the weather - we just got a break - about a 5 hour window, so I will head on out on a short hike, be back before the next wet wave hits us. so so typical for the region here, weather pattern wise. When I get home that book and a kitty or two will do wonderfully!

Hi Michelle, just taking a quick glance at Mannie's numbers, he did great today with surfing blues! Were you able to take that shore walk. I got out and about but was in a hurry to get home and turn on the A/C! :-D

I did take off for a hike today, once it looked like Mannie was on his surf board. I hiked the john Wayne Trail near here, which is a converted old RR line - the Milwaukee - that used to service Chicago. It was fun to see markers on the trail that indicated the miles to Chicago... like 2200 or so. :-D :cool: It was a nice hike - very flat, easy to do, with RR trellises to cross - that was fun. And I made it back before the skies opened up again. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Ann - That he did - I am very happy with today. What I really like is the evenness of it all, a little up and down, but fairy steady. So so cool! :-D :-D ANd yes - I did get out. It looked like Mannie was in blue surf mode, there was a break in the weather for about 4/5 hours or so , so I went on a short hike. And I got lucky - not one drop of rain until I headed on home. SWEET! I can so understand your need for the A/c: what with it being in the 80's there.

HI Lisa - thanks - the boy does love to cook and party... :lol: :lol: Mannie says not to worry - he made sure Leo got there. It is such an important day today. :cool:

That master chef is doing some great cooking! All that work prepping for all those OTJ parties and then playing in the band is keeping him busy and his BG down. Mannie always seems to rise to the occasion and show off some very nice BLUE!. We had a bit of a break here too - I'm glad Mannie gave you a pass for a hike.

Nice PMPS for Mannie! Glad you were able to get in a short hike, Michelle. I meant to thank Mannie for the extra drink this morning, a :-D caramel white mocha, white chocolate shavings on top of caramel whip! It was the best!

Nice day for you, Mannie! And all that cookin' to do. It's a good thing the weather was too awful to spend much time outside. (Rusty came running to the door when a gust of wind hit him today, too!)

Michelle, it's great that you got in a rail-trail walk. And the rains/winds weren't too bad for the time you were out. Good salvage of the bad-weather day! (I went shopping after the trip to the landfill and bought a new pack!!, so I salvaged the day, too)

I need to find a new one too -one that will work for when Nicholas and I go out. The other one is falling apart from too much use! :lol: :lol:

I'm jealous about the hike. Evidently we had an amazing fall weather day and I was stuck in the office all day. The 6am morning walk was a chilly one.

Your wishes have helped him find the trail back to the Blue Grotto. :-D hmmmmmm you could be right on the taste testing... might be for sure with that +2. :shock: :lol: I remember the days of being stuck in an office all day while the fall days kept on moving by. I used to try and get out for a walk at lunch time back then. I used to walk at 6 too, sometimes I still do. it is a bit chilly at that time of morning isn't it. :-D
