Lower than I expected.

Found out late yesterday afternoon we weren't going to meet with WC today after all, they didn't file the necessary papers, so now it's all on hold. But they swear my checks have been overnighted. Yeah right. SUPPOSEDLY, the reason my check was late, the adjuster was out of town for a week due to a family death..............so why have I not gotten a check in 5 weeks? BS! They are so full of it and now they are going to continue to make my life miserable. My attorney thought there was a good chance of settling my case today. He's not real happy either, but he doesn't depend on them to pay his rent. If it comes to it, I've decided I'll put everything in storage and move in with my best friend in SC, I can't expect my son to cover my rent every time they want to screw with me. As it stands, I don't know what's going on now.
 
So sorry you are going through a rough time. It seems odd that there is only one person to do a job and if he can't do his job, there should be someone who can in his absence. So it doesn't make sense to me either...
