Yesterday's condo

So far, so good with China today. Lightened up her dose this morning and so far, we have a nice surf going on. Will just have to see what happens from here.

Have to take mom to a shoe store today to get fitted for some new shoes. For some reason, none of the shoes we've brought her from home are fitting her right, so we're going to a store in town that specializes in "hard to fit" feet. Of course we'll end up paying over $100 for a pair of shoes instead of $18 at WalMart, but they should last a good long time. Then it's off to the health department to get Mom a flu shot....for some odd reason, the nursing home is saying they haven't got the vaccine yet...if there's anyplace that NEEDS flu vaccine, it's a nursing home full of elderly people with multiple health problems.

Hoping China surfs safely while we're out!!

Hi guys .. what nice numbers china!! I hope you surf safely while your beanz is out .. Good luck on the shoe hunt .. I always have a problem finding a nice pair of shoes to wear but my toes are majorly messed up from breaking them so many times! have a great day guys!

Hi Chris, China is looking great today. Hope she surfs nicely while you are gone. Have a nice outing with mom today. Hope you find some shoes to fit that don't break the bank.

China was a good kitty and surfed nice for her mommabean while she was out :-D

Found a cool pair of shoes for Mom but they didn't have the size she needed in stock, so we'll have to wait for them to come in. The front part of the shoe is made out of the same stuff they make scuba outfits out of, so it's very sturdy, but will also "stretch" when he feet swell in the afternoon/evenings. I've never seen anything like it, but they sure looked comfortable and will be much better for her. Only $180 :shock: :shock:

Nice surf for China today. I'm glad you found some shoes for you mom, but wow on the price.
 
Looking good so far on the skinny 1 unit....would be nice for her to hold one reduction..even if it's only a little one!!
