Boy howdy, were we shocked to see the color that shall not by typed this morning! He had a big jump last night between +3 and +5, so I guess I should have realized something was up. He had a nice run of blues yesterday, so I'm not sure if that was still the previous bounce, or it broke and he went right to another? We haven't seen this color in several weeks.

He was acting interested in food this morning but then didn't eat much when it was in front of him, so we gave some pepcid. We'll see how today's cycle goes. :YMSIGH:

I would have re-tested. It may have been a wonky numbers. You'll get a better sense when you get other numbers this cycle. It may be a bounce off of the blues. Sometimes I think Gabby's pancreas just gets tired and needs a break. Then, there are higher numbers.

Thank you, Sienne. I didn't think to retest, probably because he was 202 last night at +5 so I sort of expected a high number. Not that high though. I'm going to get a +2 so that will give us a littl perspective.

Oh dear, I had to look twice when I saw Zener's AMPS. I'm sure it is just a freak thing and Zener will be down at least a couple of floors in no time.

Linda and Georgia: yes, that one hurt. Thanks for your sympathy. He has already come down at +2 and hopefully further when Anne tests him again at +4.5. Hope it's just a freak thing. He is having a good day, napping on the heating pad in the front window. :lol:

Christie - eek is right! Someone on the FDMB wrote to me months ago that one day we would be more comfortable with low numbers than high numbers, because we could do something about low numbers, like feed low numbers. I do believe we have made that transition!

Ella- thanks for the mottos, I do love Scarlett O'Hara and thanks to Lisa too for the FD one.

Time to feed and shoot! And start all over again, thank goodness.
