So we started a new vial of insulin yesterday. The old one had been in use for 2.5 months, so I figured it was time to change.

Here is a recap from yesterday 10/13:

I already took the dose down to 2.75u this morning, and that still may be too much with the fresh insulin.....we'll see! I hope to see this bounce clear quickly too

What a difference fresh insulin can make! Nice numbers last night, I hope he clears that bounce quickly.

+9 is 264

I can tell his body doesn't like these big BG swings - he has started meatloafing this afternoon with an "ick" look, but when he is moving around, he acts just fine. Crossing my fingers this bounce clears tonight, but expecting it to clear tomorrow.
